I could not get a receipt for what I paid for my room either when I checked in or out, and they just showed me an amount they put on my card to hold. But it didnt make since to me, because of what we were quoted. The roads are horrible but I know that no fault of the hotel.

Two major issues - 1) poor level of advices on trip out ie Stingray city and carnival etc. We only heard about these from travellers outside the hotel. 2) prices quoted on hotel trip brochures and even on booking.com, additional taxes (14%, 10%) have never been mentioned but being added to our bill.
More apparent on prices and better advice about trips to antiqua. Also still not sure why booking.com suggested prices included everything and then taxes were added subsequently. Other hotel we were staying in Antigua did not add on any taxes.

Location of the hotel in a beautiful bay, the wonderful beach, having tennis courts at the hotel, tennis pros Nigel and Rennie, tasty breakfast, option to do water sports, and lots more!
Condition of some tennis courts - resurfacing and maintenance would be great so that all 7 tennis courts are in good condition to play and enjoy!

location and beach is amazing. lovely pool.
the hotel is tired, restaurants okay but nothing special. staff seemed to be going through the motions. all in all, it felt like the hotel would benefit from a refit and a program to energise the staff.
