When I checked in, the street in front was torn up with construction. I asked the receptionist if the noise would start early. She said it was possible and offered to switch me to a larger courtyard room for 10 extra a day. This was half of the normal price. The next day a different receptionist booked me a voucher for the hop on hop off bus because he knew there was a sale. Saved me some money. The staff were so helpful with maps and directions. Great location between two U-bahn stops. There are a number of good moderately priced restaurants in the same block. They provided me with ice to ice my bad knee after walking all day, and stored my luggage when I took a side trip to Salzburg. They were all so nice. Breakfast had all you could want. Would stay there again.
All the English speaking TV channels were news channels. CNN, Bloomberg, BBC, Al Jazeera, an English speaking French channel.The 24/7 news was about the war in Israel and Gaza. Some Entertainment Chanel in English would have been nice. They did have an amazing amount of channels in many different languages.

Wonderful
The staff at the front desk was fantastic and helped us out with a couple of non hotel related issues. The hotel is very historic, so not neccessarily modern,and has quite a bit of charm. The staff is very professional and polite. The breakfast buffet in the morning is nice to get the day started. While most of the sights we wanted to see in Vienna were not nearby, one of the main train/metro stops is a 5 minute walk from the hotel, so it was easy to access anything in the city as well as the airport.
I have no suggestions for improvement.

Very attentive staff and amazing breakfast! Great variety of options. Bed very comfortable.
It was far too hot, even on a winters day and the air con was not working due to the time of year. We were all sweating through the night.

We were unlucky to have the construction work going on in front of the hotel but otherwise everything else was very good. Breakfast was super and the staff were excellent.
The shower stall was very small.

Loved this hotel and staff. In a perfect part of town. Nice breakfast and cute bar. Close to local train, Ferris wheel, excellent dining.
Breakfast was usually the same thing each morning and limited hot options. Mostly scrambled eggs and a egg muffin.
