Disappointing
Location
I had a jacuzzi room. And I paid for it. The water in the bath tub was lukewarm at its maximum heat. They tried to adjust it through help. Twice. They couldn’t. First night, I had a warm bath. The air was also cold. It was not pleasant. They said that’s the maximum heat it comes out when I complained next day. When I further complained to the management, they put me in a different room with a court yard view. The water had prefect temperature. HOT which could be adjusted to the ‘right’ temperature to one’s body. Since I didn’t complain, they believed me, I guess. But the courtyard room constantly needed to keep the curtains closed. Also it is dark, 3rd floor. I was on 8th floor street view before. This one looked to some apartments in close proximity. No privacy. Overall my stay, I didn’t find it comfortable. The price has a factor in this. It was outrageously priced. They suppose to give me credit through booking.com. If they do, I doubt they will give me for the first night. But I must add, the location and the 7th floor restaurant is truly remarkable. The room was very clean with good help throughout. Thanks.

Shape and space of the room, heavy smell at the enterance of the hotel, if u wanna sit,relax and drink something after a long day at the hotel’s bar, forget about it unless u have a reservation.

Beside the excellent room and the most incredible view of St. Stephans in front of my panoramic windows, I want to give a shout out to the staff who took care of the faulty bathroom doors. The sliders would not close all the way and the slats would not close either. I mentioned this to the staff the following morning and the fixed both doors like new before I returned! Excellent attention to getting things fixed! Bravo!
I would have preferred to have walked through a real lobby and see the staff every time I left or entered the hotel.

Very central right in the middle of the city. The hotel breakfast so good and their attention to us impeccable. You can walk everywhere and we had a van and they park it for us. Valet parking excellent as well.

The location obviously is great. It is the Stephansplatz.
I don’t really understand how this hotel can be assessed as five star hotel. Never been in worse 5 star. I don’t even know what to describe first. Just imagine anything you think the five star hotel should be and be sure that this is not it. Only the central location cannot make the hotel five star.

Location and room were wonderfull
Air conditioning would not stop even when it was manually stopped from the electrical switch by the staff. There was always a cold breeze in the room. During the day it was not such an issue but at night it got cold. We had a 1 year old with us that we had to constantly check to see if he was too cold.
