The location was fair, a short walk to the centre and markets etc. Quiet and safe for a city centre location.
The man on reception to greet us seemed to be offended that we were even breathing the same air that he was. Rude, sarcastic, lacked manners or any type of effort. It took several breathes to relax and not react to him to set the stay off badly. The final night someone moved in next door to us too and had the TV so loud it felt like it was on the end of our bed making it impossible to sleep. Maybe the guest was hard of hearing which is not the hotels issue, or maybe better soundproof is needed.

The hotel is very authentic with nice interior, staff is super friendly and speaks many languages. I really like the breakfast and should mention that it is served for quite long till 11 or 12. Though girls at the breakfast service were a bit gloomy with non-German speaking guests, the breakfast is better than in some 5 star hotels.
The hotel is located very central but at the same time is hidden from noisy traffic in the small pedestrian street.
Unfortunately it cannot be changes but the view from the hotel is on some old auto garage, otherwise it would be so beautiful.

I went to this hotel after I booked another one and had to leave early because of issues. The staff was so welcoming and helpful especially Magdalena. The breakfast was a decent spread to start your day and it was within 10 minutes walk to the Christmas market and no more than 20 minutes to the city center walking. It was close to the attractions as well. I love that the sink was not porcelain white but a gold color and there was a towel heating rack in the bathroom.
The small plate sizes for breakfast which meant you had to make multiple trips to get other items.

It’s convenient and close to tram and train
We barely have wifi access. We were at 4th floor. I have to do some work so I just connected my laptop to my phone. Even my phone can’t connect to the wifi for basic browsing when in room.
Everytime we come back to the room after a day out, there’s a bad smell to the room. Although it’s cold we would open the windows to refresh the air in the room.
The room has barely anything. I appreciate that they are eco friendly but there’s no toiletries at all except for an all in one hands, body wash and shampoo. If you need something, you will need to request.
For the nightly price, in my opinion it’s not worth it.

The rooms / bathrooms were not cleaned properly / not vacuumed on day 2 of our stay . Used coffee cups were also not removed during service . We had to request for fresh towels etc . For a 4 star I expect that the rooms be cleaned and at-least vacuumed.

It’s location, it’s cleanliness and the breakfast
The check in process wasn’t too smooth. We were waiting for our room and they happened to get really busy and forgot about us after waiting hours for our 3 pm check in. I had to follow up with the staff and then didn’t remember where luggage’s were stored.

Conveniently located in a small street behind the City Hall, a short walk from the main tourist attractions. The "Superior Viennese Elegance" room was not particularly spacious for a couple, but it was richly decorated. In fact, the Klimt-inspired (faux) gilding might not be to everyone's taste - I for one found it a little kitschy - but it surely catches the eye. The room was quiet, and everything in it looked clean and in perfect condition. All the expected amenities were there, including a Nespresso machine. The bathroom was spacious and clean (however, see below).
In a previous stay at this hotel we had booked a slightly more expensive "Deluxe Viennese Elegance" room. In comparison, this "Superior" room was a bit disappointing: apart from the smaller size (understandable in view of the price difference), the room was located in the newer annex next to the main building, and lacked the "old palace" charm of the previous one. There was also a small issue with the bathroom, which was adapted to people with disabilities: the shower box had no curtain or door whatsoever, so a large portion of the floor got wet when we used the shower. Indeed, some moldiness on the tiles outside the shower box was the only sign of wear in the whole room.

Since the room faced the back, it was totally quiet, one could not hear any traffic noise. The bed was ever so comfortable, I slept like a baby. I also really loved the Klimt Glass Bathroom door, which colors lit up when the light inside the bathroom was on. A real surprise and treat.

Anna was friendly, funny, and made sure our check-in went smoothly. We appreciated the hotel storing our luggage in a secure room as we arrived from Salzburg before check-in time. The hotel isn't as close to the main attractions of Vienna (or the U-Bahn) as others, but it is close to a tram station. Our room was clean and comfortable, and room service was attentive but not intrusive. It's clear that guest services are a priority for the hotel, and we frequently passed people in the lobby who were chatting with hotel staff and enjoying the amenities of the hotel lounge and game room.
The hotel's location made it somewhat of a chore to get to and from the train station, as it's about a 10-minute walk on mostly uneven cobblestone streets to reach the bus line that goes directly to the Hauptbahnhof, and about the same to get to the nearest U-Bahn station. It also wasn't quite as convenient to Vienna's many museums and cultural sites as we would have preferred. Despite that, the hotel is fairly expensive, and for what we paid, the size of our room and particularly the rather spartan bathroom were rather modest. We were given a menu to order room service, but there was no option to order it online or by cellphone, and the phone in our room wasn't working.
