Loved the swim out pool and bar. Family friendly.
The restaurant was not very welcoming to our family. Slow on service although there were jot many people in the resturant and over priced.

The swim out part of the appartment
For the price we paid.......The appartment furnishings are dated and needs to be refreshed. There is rust on the chairs and the blinds and burn holes in the couch, along with stains and smelly fabrics.
Would be great if it had a coffee pod machine in the appartment, along with tissues and toilet spray and that all pre arrival requests were completed instead of needing to be followed up on arrival.
A welcome gift of either a bottle of wine /champagne and a box of chocolates would be a luxury touch on the kitchen counter upon arrival. Also its standard to have complimentary bottles of water for guests, this wasnt the case at this appartment.
An info brochure on how the local shuttles work, where you can hire bikes or scooters from would also be great, along with some recommendations on where to eat.
For what is advertised as a luxury stay....i would not say it was a luxury appartment. The hotel and the facilities were wonderful. The appartment needs some attention to bring it up to lux. The swim out function was the best part!

The swim out pool
Could do with a make over, I would have expected this sort of room in Bali though unfortunately we are in Australia not Bali so standards should be a lot higher in my opinion for the price being changed.
New fans as they are very loud and out of balance, new down lights wouldnt hurt for aesthetics as exisiting are very outdated and not sitting in ceiling flush, new paint to freshen the place up would be a must, and the A/C needs some serious attention as I makes the apartment smell wet with a lot of mould building up in the units, filters and ceiling cavities due to it not functioning correctly. If youre used to the Bali style holiday and rooms and can look past the deterioration of above mentioned then this place is great for the kids due to the pool other then that its nothing luxurious at all (Bali villa style)
Id suggest a small renovation be done to rectify the above or the price be lowered to justify it not being above 4 stars.

Sea Temple always wonderful.
It's a lovely apartment but for this kind of money we would expect a fully furnished apartment to have a few basics such as a nespresso coffee machine (there was a basic coffee plunger but not even a welcome pack of coffee to use), nor even a bottle of oil or salt and pepper. Oven was redundant as there were no oven trays or pans to use. We have stayed several times at this complex and always had basics covered. It's a bit tired. Broken blind in bedroom, big crack running along one wall in bathroom. Above may sound petty but it all added up to feeling like owners were squeezing every last cent out of their investment. Read the other reviews carefully and you will see similar themes. This apartment, although private and poolside access which is wonderful, only gets very little, if any, morning sun in September. Don't get us wrong Sea Temple, is always wonderful, just shop around in which apartment you choose - this one was very expensive (but the only one left poolside so we took it) and didn't met our expectations for the reasons outlined above.

Very Good
Apartment was fantastic, loved being able to have such easy access to the pool. Belinda gave us clear instructions on getting in and finding a park which really helped.
We had requested that both rooms were made up with king beds, but one room had been made with two singles. The kitchen did not have the basic supplies that had been advertised - none of the standard items like salt, pepper, oil.

The pool
House keeping was late with linen. Charged a roll away and had to pull it out myself and make it.

Beautiful resort, loved the pool. The room was very nice. Sound proof doors are great as resort is very noisy, a party place.
A bit dated, broken blinds, mouldy broken chairs by the pool. We wanted to use these but as it rained alot when we were their they were always wet and at closer inspection very mouldy. Easy to fix, as many other rooms have metal loungers that dry quick!

Wonderful
Dave was waiting when we landed so made check in super easy and communication was great. hotel is amazing and apartment is beautiful and swim out room is next level and totally made our trip!!!
lack of basic essentials we assumed would be provided such as scissors, lighter, oil/spray for cooking, salt, pepper, tinfoil, bin bags, laundry powder etc we were provided with 3 toilet rolls for the stay and 1 kitchen towel. Dave was very reactive when we asked about this and we were supplied them with 3 further toilet rolls and bin bags and laundry powder and just purchased everything else at the shops. also found out that we appeared to have paid almost double what other families staying for the same time period were paying so that added a twinge of frustration especially when the above was lacking and we would have to pay $125 for a mid week clean when this should have been provided considering how much we paid.

We loved the swim out apartment for the pool at your doorstep
Happy that we could get a roll away bed to add to the bedding.
Apartment was very tired, in need of a fresh coat of paint, and a bit of TLC. Cupboards in bathroom and kitchen need replacing. Kitchen was not well equipped with utensils. Other little things need to be checked, down lights falling out of ceiling, blinds that dont work, holes in walls, just to name a few. I think for the price that we paid I would have expected a lot better standard of accommodation.

The swim out view is stunning! You have your own little area to swim right outside your outdoor seating, still private but much bigger then the rest of the apartments along the lagoon.
The hotel staff weren't too accomodating being that we privately booked this room, which is rude because you buy food and drinks from the bars/restaurants but the non professional lady at front desk Tania wouldn't pick us to from our room when it was pouring rain in one of their staff operated buggies, because our room was private, but would if we booked via the hotel.
Thank you for your information!
