Wonderful
Clean room with a nice pool. Good location and facilities for either traveling through or staying for several days. Nice kitchens for doing your own food, quiet location. Short walk to an excellent Thai Resturant!

Convenient location and ample parking
Short office hours equals zero service. Owner was very officiate and stuck to his ways of doing things. He insisted that we call on the day of arrival, for late check-in, despite we had informed them that our international phone had problems calling. They could have easily accepted texts, emails or communicate through Booking.com to accommodate their customers.

Location
They certainly live up to their name, Lazy Lizard. The office hours were listed as 8 AM to 5 PM, and they closed the doors right on the dot. Unfortunately, our tour guide dropped us back a little late, and we rang the bell at 5:05 PM just to change for coins so we could do laundry. The man who answered was clearly not pleased, and we felt quite uncomfortable for having inconvenienced him.

Our room was spacious and clean, bed was very comfortable.
We loved the pool, which was a very good temperature.
Office staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area.
Loved the free extras like the ice machine and pool towells.
Nothing about the accommodation, but it was a bit further from town than I realised.

Loved the few days we staying at Lazy Lizard.
The units are big, clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed.
Fabulously comfy bed and pillows with extra pillows available in the wardrobe.
Good size flat screen TV.
Terrific air con and ceiling fan kept temperature perfect.
The kitchenette had everything we needed to make simple meals.
Handy to have the iron and ironing board and it was terrific to have the DVD player.
There is washing machine and dryer and clothes dryers on premises to use if needed.
Heaps of DVDs are available to borrow and a book swap library as well.
We didn't have a swim but the pool area looked nice.
Everything about this Motor Inn is well maintained and the host was really friendly and knowledgeable about the area.
Lazy Lizard is a fabulous choice for accommodation at Port Douglas.
Very affordable, large, clean, comfortable unit with tropical plants around the units and the covered car parking area.

Great little place , one street down from the Sheraton Mirage :) It's very good value for money, Owners are discreete ,
rooms are quiet .
The pool is not super-huge but good enough for kids to have fun,
The location is a bit away from Port Douglas centre, -- short taxi stroll no worries.

We spent just one night here on our way to Cape Tribulation, so we didn’t have the chance to fully enjoy all the facilities available.
The owners were very welcoming and kindly arranged a late check-in for us, as our flight arrived in the evening.
The following morning, the owner gave us some excellent tips on what to see and do around Port Douglas, which we really appreciated.
The room was simply furnished but functional however perfect for a short stay.
