The lush colourful gardens and the Balinese touches everywhere , fantastic pool.. Great location. The room was fantastic. The decor could do with a little updating but I was very impressed , great value for money and will definitely stay again and will be recommending to family and friends..
The fridge leaked which was slightly annoying and the bath needs re- grouting.

Pleasant
Pool area, garden and facilities. Bed was comfy. Air conditioner and fan worked.
Room/bathroom fittings were falling off and the room smelt of damp. Bathroom was mouldy and dated. Indoor chairs need a clean. Nowheres to sit and have dinner inside. Have stayed in much nicer rooms in Port Douglas for same price.

Location is excellent, close to everything. The resort is quite nice, not new but pretty well maintained, nice gardens and pools. The bed and pillows in our room were very comfortable
The actual room was very disappointing. The pictures on line don't really reflect reality - they've moved furniture around to take photos from different angles helping to give the impression of a more furnished place than it really is. It's much smaller than the pictures suggest and not really the sort of room you would want to relax in beyond sleeping. The decor is old and worn, guessing 90s since anything was renovated - kitchenette and bathroom are very dated. The 2 armchairs are lumpy from use and dirty, the walls have dings in them, the bathroom has old mould discolouring the grout, no hooks for any towels and no drawers or shelves for toiletries. The one towel rail (half hanging out of the wall) is at the end of the bath and can't be used if you shower without getting the towels wet. They also then hang against the bath and so don't dry. The shelf in the fridge for bottles is broken and no one has cleaned dirty hand prints off the back of the door for a long time. We found quite a few dirty dishes and dirty cutlery in the cupboards and drawers from previous guests that clearly hadn't been checked. The view from the back window is into someone's backyard and onto Davidson St and you really need to pull the blind for any kind of privacy leaving you with a dark room. There is a strange empty space in the room which clearly should have a dining table in it but doesn't. I'm sorry we didn't spend more and get something better and better value. Room 47A is poor value for money. My overall rating for accomodation is 6/10 dragged up because the resort is nice and we'd stay there again if they have better rooms. The actual room itself doesn't really deserve more than about 4/10 for the price. We've been to PD many times and this is the worst value we've ever had.

The resort is beautiful, the style, the gardens and pool area and how its perfect location being so close to everything in the Main Street as well as four mile beach.
There was no salt/pepper, dishwashing liquid, bin liners, appropriate sized frying pan. There was a glass with lipstick on it on arrival. The cushions on the chairs and lounge were obviously aged and a bit dirty and needed to be cleaned/refreshed/replaced.

Absolutely fantastic location and the pool was great.
Slightly delayed checkin because of a mixup with the cleaners. Also wouldve been good to have a dining table indoors - as the rain meant we couldnt use the small table on the balcony.

Very Poor
. Not much The apartment was left unlocked for our arrival as we were past 5pm which is close up shop time. That was not a problem. The bed was comfortable and king size. From here the apartment was a massive disappointment and not what we were led to believe.
Mostly every. Please take the time to read this review. We knew that we had booked a studio apartment with a garden view. The garden view was the backyard of a dodgy rental that had at least 10 large bins and 2 dilapidated and discarded fridges. This was our garden view. Massive lie. There was no inside table or chairs for sitting to have breakfast or any meal but there was plenty of room for it so at this stage we brought the outside setting in as there was no pleasure to sit on the balcony. The fridge was tiny and the freezer was completely frozen over and only 1 ice cube tray could fit in. The wardrobe space was insufficient for 1 person let alone 2 as we had to share with with the broom, the ironing board and a fold up beach chair. This is not hygienic
Bathroom had no storage so we brought in the obscure little coffee table to use as storage. There was no handle to assist in climbing into the bath so the towel rack had to be used which was coming off the wall. The bath had yellow stains around the edge. It needed a very good clean as did the scum around the taps and sink hole. There was nowhere to hang the hand towel. The door was a louvre door that did not allow for any privacy. Light could be seen during a night toilet visit and there was no sound barrier. It was most unpleasant. Just to add to it, the hot water tap came off every time you used, dangerous and the flusher on the toilet did not work. At this stage in desperation we rang the emergency number and spoke to Tom our host who promised to send a plumber and look for better accomodation for us.
We had to endure 3 nights of this.
Tom was true to his word though and the both problems were fixed in the bathroom the next morning. It took 3 days to a get a relocation. We were offered a refund which was of no help us as there was very little around to get and we did not want to waste a day of our time on our first visit to Port Douglas looking for accomodation . The place was tired and dull.

The Location is great. Stayed here before but not through Seascape so we paid more and the rooms we had were fabulous. This apartment bit small but fine for 3 of us and happy to recommend.
Bathrooms could have been a bit cleaner.

We found the wider resort and facilities itself great. Wonderful pool options with a great bbq area. The laundry at the resort was handy with washing machines and driers available. The resort is well located close to central town and the beach.
The studio room was very basic. We found the unit a little dated and tired looking. Bed was very firm and uncomfortable, pillows not much better. It would have been nice to have a breakfast table inside and somewhere comfortable to sit. View over the nextdoor neighbours backyard somewhat strange. For longer stays like ourselves it would have been good to have additional towels available as well as some cleaning products available for toilet. When the room was serviced halfway through our 14 night stay the toilet and sink in bathroom wasn't cleaned. Kitchen amenities were very basic, not really set up for people who want to do self-catering ie no bowls to make a salad in - we had to use a pot to make a salad. Basics like salt and pepper would have been good to have and more than 1/3 of a roll of toilet paper.
