Its located downtown and its near to a lot of restaurants (10-15 mins walking) we stayed there just one night and were able to enjoy our last day in Aruba without having to expend money in taxis.
The room is perfect if youre going to use it for resting after a long day. The air conditioner worked perfectly, and theres not hot water but its not super cold, Id say its refreshing for when youve been outside all day and feel really hot.
We arrived quite early to check in but the host allowed us to leave our luggage in the living room so we could go out and have lunch. When we came back all our belongings were safe there.

No frills but excellent location. Safe, clean and very close to everything. Excellent restaurants and shops to visit. Luis and staff were very helpful with all of our needs and requests.

Location is good, from downtown area its a 10 min walk. The AC in the rooms is a good thing as its quite hot there. Luis was quite friendly and explained everything well. The wifi connectivity through out the property was incredible! Its a well maintained property.

Staff was friendly. Location was very convenient. Local bus will stop right in front of the building. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Less than 10 mins walk to downtown harbor area (depending on how fast you walk). AC and wifi worked well. Beds were comfy and lots of hooks to hang stuff in the room. No mosquitoes in the room was a bonus.
Shower pressure was not great. But at least there was hot water. Someone MacGyvered the shower curtain rod and held that in place with clothing pegs. Not a whole lot of counter space or hooks in bathroom but at least there was a small shower caddy to place all your things.

My friend and I stayed in a private room at Pista Q in January. We had a great stay here and would definitely recommend to others on a budget looking for an affordable, safe, quiet and comfortable hostel. The staff were so kind and helped us feel more at home in Aruba. We took advantage of the great kitchen to prepare our meals every day and hung out by the pool in the afternoon when it was too hot to be walking around. The hostel was a 10 minute walk to the beach, which was very easy to get to and we felt very safe walking around the downtown at any hour. It was also very close to the main bus station in Oranjestad.
