The hotel we stayed in was Villa des Fleur's just around the corner. The hotel Laurberge had double booked and did not get in touch. They did however organise our stay around the corner at Villa des Fleiur which was a 4* at no extra cost.
Not being contacted about the booking error.

Breakfast very good. Shower and bathroom good size
Too hot. Fan could not plug in the main part of the room - we had to plug it into bathroom socket. Not enough accessible electric plug sockets to charge phones or plug in the fan

The room is very nice, functional and clean
Its missing air conditioning and as the room is facing south-east it hit since early morning from the sun making the temperature of the room far too hot in summer. The ventilator in the room is it enough to mitigate

The room was quite acceptable and the location was great. However, being treated like I was dog droppings attached to a shoe made the whole experience miserable.
I was treated like a second class citizen by the waiter at the restaurant. I asked that if people started smoking, could I move inside. "No! Once you sit down you cannot move", he responded. From then on there was no eye contact. Things were placed on my table as a mere passing and he walked away without comment. I don't speak French, but I noticed that the waiter smoozed with all those who did speak French. I may as well have been a despised refugee, albeit one who was paying the same as everyone else.

Fantastic location in the centre of Spa. Rooms renovated and modern, and good size. Comfortable bed, good shower. Very nice friendly helpful staff. Weve stayed here before and would again.
No air conditioning in the rooms (although fan provided). Only one power outlet in the bedroom.

The bathroom was modern. Really clean room. Location is perfect.
They charge 30 more for the room that in theory has the big double bed. We arrived to the room and find out that it is not such, they are two single beds put together, I could have save 30 chosing the room with individual beds.
The entrance to the hotel is through the restaurant, pretty uncomfortable during peak hours.
