It was not an oversized hotel, which made it intimate and a great location
The AC broken it was soooo hot. Extremely hot. The night before a 23 year old died at the Taylor Swift Brazil concert - Geez it was sooo hot. No apologies or compensation.

The breakfast was top notch. You can tell the chef took pride in his work. There were many choices in their large breakfast buffet, way better than going to a restaurant.
Wish we stayed longer.

After a personal issue with an apartment booked by some external agency, we decided to book for a bedroom at this hotel, Arena Hotel and must say thay my Copacabana's experience improved a lot because of the hotel. Great views, great service ( they really helped us out alocating us in one of the best room) and great price. Highly recommended.

Location
Needs a refresh, rather dated and worn out. Reservation department is not helpful at all. Breakfasts are very limited. More like 3* hotel, not 4*. For the same price you can stay at the 5* Miramar hotel which has much better service and value for money.

You just can't beat the location or the view from the rooftop. The staff is super friendly and the common areas are beautiful.
The rooms are a little outdated and the beds were OK not great. But realistically you're not going to going to spend too much time in the room anyway.

Location
First time in my life i paid for the drinking water in the room?! And there were no hygiene kit in the rooms, nothing. Just two big bottles: shampoo and soap. And elevators not working properly.

The hotel is extremely well located just in front to the Copacabana beach. Hotel staff are friendly. The hotel has a restaurant, a small/basic gym and a small pool. Breakfast is included.
I had a big issue the first night. I appreciate the fact that the hotel compensated me with an upgrade the day after. However, I simply could not sleep the first night. The noise of a machine that was working in the hotel was unbearable. Besides, I paid for a room "with a view to the interior" but actually there was no view. The room faced a very dirty wall. Besides, the pillows were in bad condition and there was no blanket. I asked for another room but I only got a response and was upgraded the day after. I you choose an ocean view room (much more expensive) then you can enjoy the hotel, but if you choose a standard room then you might not have a good experience
