Perfect location , steps away from the beach , super convenient to explore Ipanema , Copacabana and Leblon in waking distance.
The staff were always friendly and efficient.
I truly enjoyed my stay there and strongly recommended it

Pleasant
Very good breakfast selection and well located near Ipanema and Copacabana beach. The reception staff were very friendly and accommodating.
The rooms were a little bit run down and it did not feel like a 4 start hotel. The gym was quite small and there was no place to fill up our water bottles to rehydrate.

Excellent hotel with friendly staff, large and clean rooms, and good breakfast. Some items were labeled gluten free at breakfast which was comforting for me as I have a gluten allergy. We felt safe and well looked after.
Communication prior to arriving could be improved as we needed to book independently on separate sites to extend our booking and had emailed to request the same room for both bookings or an early check-in for the second booking to ensure we would not be left waiting in the lobby for hours with our belongings. We were not assured of this over email but the staff on arrival informed us that we would have the same room throughout our stay as this is the best arrangement for them, to which we agreed and wished we had been aware of this to save many communications and stress of even looking into other hotels.

The treatment we got from the staff was beyond our expectations. They changed the room for us since fhe first one was smelly and they assisted us with all our requests.

At check-in, we requested two breakfast boxes to be ready for us at 5:00 AM the next morning. The receptionist confirmed that they would be prepared. However, when we went to the front desk the next morning, the staff on duty said there was nothing available for us. Despite my husband having confirmed the request the day before, it seems it was not followed through. This was disappointing, especially given the early hour and our plans for the day.

Two things that negate the excellent location:
1. The arrogance of the reservation staff. Just unbelievable
2. The outrageous pricing. They charged over $300/night, when one street down prices were around $150 for hotels with larger rooms, in-house coffeemaker, better bed and well-priced food. This hotel is a very low value for money ...

Good breakfast. I am gluten free so not many options but every day there were different dishes to keep it interesting for the rest of my party. On the last day very early, Nubia was setting up the breakfast and being the hostess and she went out of the way to bring me gluten free items I did not know were available

There was no sound isolation in the doors or walls. It was impossible to sleep after 6-7 AM due to noise from other rooms or from guests leaving the hotel.”

Location is great, hotel is clean, nice amenities, great breakfast, staff very courteous (especially Leonardo who speaks Romanian and also perfect English).
Sleeping conditions were not that great as AC was very loud and we couldn’t sleep with it turned on. Pillows a bit too big so we didn’t use them. Also on the last night there was some loud alarm going on from the near by park for 2-3 hours in the middle of the night. Although it wasn’t hotel’s fault it did disturb our sleep.

The service was very good and location convenient to the beach
The rooms are very small and you can hear noise from outside, and the rooftop is not maintained as it looks in the pictures - would likely not stay again.
