location
Extreme noisily (horrible isolation of the walls and windows). I couldnt sleep during the night because of the noise of the neighborhood and the neighbor's room.
The room cleaning was not reasonable and necessary to book every day.
The breakfast was not good enough as the standard of the property.

Despite the building looks to be new, it seems to have been transferred from another hotels brand. The team wasn't able to support the full occupied hotel. It appears to explain why we had to ask for simple amenities like towel and soap/shampoo. The relatively furniture was visibly damaged by other guests and didn't have the proper maintenance.
The stay was ok, the breakfast was good, but I would never rate that as a 4 stars hotel.

There wasnt hot water during 3 days, the staff keep saying the water was coming back in a couple hours but didnt happen, so we had to change hotel. very disappointed.
i understand bad stuff happen but they could tell us about it.

Apart hotel is really nice. Appartments are really nice equipped. Internet works everywhere even on the pool. Staff is nice and even English speaking. Great breakfast! View from balcony was nice
There were some light bulbs missing in bedroom and loose door handles but they sent service man and he fixed it quick.

This is not soley a hotel, there are private rental apartments also. Restaurant offers evening meals. Nice friendly staff (except for guy at the gate who insist you enter via pedestrian gate when the (closer) car barrier is wide open. Excellent size studio room, with good layout and good light from twin windows. Good price found, but you have to look. When i wanted extension the rate offered was higher and matching other better hotels, so not such good value. There are private rentals in the same building so I actually moved to one of these, exactly same layout and facilities. Good hot water and shower pressure. Shower cubicle big enough -if they move the dispensers !
One man reception - can be quite a time to check-in or out. Luggage trolley but it's do-it-yourself. Silly system where you have to go to reception for breakfast voucher each morning - not good if there's a queue! Plastic cutlery (Covid driven) not replaced. No cups or glasses, bottle opener, kitchen utensils, etc. OK no kitchen, but still area to prepare food but nothing to do it with! Not inspiring breakfast options - might have been because of Covid but i cant see why that is an excuse. Small gym, "tired" equipment, no step machine, no room for floor exercises. Small TV by today's standards - and rediculous wiring didnt allow it to be rotated to view from bed area. Confined area around sink and tap too big for sink, almost shooting water out each time turn on. In-effective sink drainage (and same problem on my next room). Shampoo and soap dispensers make entry into shower and washing-off difficult because they are large and come quite a distance into the shower area (and cant redirect water since shower head is fixed) - should be replaced to a better location in the shower !

Reasonably sized apartment with modern furnishings and air con in every room. From the balcony you have a great view over Jacarepagua. There are also blackout courtains in every room. Fot the price the value you get is great.
A look behind the facade unfortunately revealed a lot of dirt: behind the courtains (that nobody seems to open and therefore check the sills for dust and dead insects) and in the cracks of the sofa, where I found a used toothpick. Same for the breakfast room, where the floor was fairly dirty. The internet was unfortunately not working very well and kept logging me out every couple of minutes. I asked at reception but was told that everything is in order. As I went for work the experience was rather poor because I desperately needed the internet.
