I like the location aside from that yoi Don't have that many options on Governador island.
ROOM:
- bathroom didn't have hooks for bath towels only one for face towels. Sink was so small and there wasn't a bench so make up and everything else had to be put in the sink for support.
- Bed mattress was too thin and soft that was like laying down straight on the bed support.
BREAKFAST:
- 6am to 9am is the breakfast time but 7:30 the french bread had already over.
- All the fruits weren't ripped yet.

Breakfast was acceptable but nothing special. Other than that, not really anything positive to say.
The room was dirty, the mattress was torn. The a/c was noisy and had to be turned off to sleep. Buses parked outside the room with engines running all the time.

Brilliant staff, average accommodation, but great service! Awesome receptionists, Thayna, Maria and others...and great kitchen staff...great experience overall. If you are looking for a place that quiet, out of the hudtle and bustle of the big city of Rio, come stay here, and move around on the Ilha Governador or move from there to the rest of the city. Transport can be pricey so make friends with the hotel reception staff and they can recommend you a reliable Uber, Eduardo and his wonderful sister, Michelle at Hotel Plage. :-)

Somewhere cheap not too far from the airport before flight.
There isn't really a beach. Tiny strip of mucky sand , filthy water and rubbish. The hotel was virtually empty but they insisted on charging us extra per hour for checking in early as we arrived in the morning. We were shattered after arriving from Chile overnight between flights and we wanted a shower and go to bed so paid.
