Very Good
Location is excellent and service is amazing. Breakfast was good, nothing out of ordinary. The room was wide, the bed was comfortable and room service did a nice job.
In the room everything is old and requires some attention. The A/C works well but makes a lot of noise

The staff was really nice and efficient and the location was wonderful, good breakfast although I expected a bit more based on the pictures and reviews I read
The gym was under renovation and so was the spa. It's true that they provided a solution for an alternative location, but I expected them to write this on the website. The bed was also very uncomfortable.

The room was big and spacious. I really appreciated that they gave us connecting rooms since we had kids traveling with us. The staff was friendly. The big tub was nice for a deep bath. The breakfast was tasty. It was a great location, close to walk to a lot of things like the beach and a lot of restaurants. There was a supermarket across the street. Overall a good stay.

I loved the room and the Art Deco design of the entire building. The manager was very kind and accommodating. They let me store my luggage on my last day so that I could sightsee a little more before my flight. They also helped me log back into WiFi to call an Uber, even though I was already checked out. The pool and steam room were very nice. I loved having a Jacuzzi bathtub and bidet also. The location is about 1.5 blocks from the beach. Very convenient location near restaurants, a grocery store and pharmacy.

Breakfast was fresh and varied. The location was great. 5 minutes to the beach and dozens of bars, shops and eating places within 10 minutes walk. Mirla & Valeria in the restaurant were really helpful.
No tea or coffee making facilities but we had brought our own mini kettle, teabags coffee etc. and borrowed cups etc. from restaurant. Had to ask reception for an iron but we could keep it throughout our stay. Advertised sauna was actually a steam room. The hotel offered free use of a nearby gym

Hotel manager walked into my room as I was asleep at 7am saying I had been “rude” the night prior when they refused to allow my friend who had just lost her belongings during carnival to sit in hotel as she was “not a guest”.

The room was clean and maintained regularly.
The hotel has NO VISITORS policy. For every person visiting you they will charge you for the full stay (day) without disclosing this rule upfront at the check-in. Luckily the reception was understanding and they didn't charge us. Please ask before your check-in.

Good location. Nice views from rooftop
They added a per person surcharge which is absolutely ridiculous. No other hotel I have stayed at has done that. If I pay for a double bed and a double room, I am entitled to have two guests. There was no drinking water available which is a safety issue. Elevators were slow. Hotel staff were passive aggressive. Key cards were defective resulting in wasted trips up and down from our room. Rooms were not spotless.

BUT mainly the air conditioning extremely noisy like a broken car really. asked to move the room but they said they fixed it but in reality it was as bad as before. very old aircon system.
