The location is truly amazing, walking distance from a subway station and the beach. about 1Km away from Arpoador, with several restaurant options near by.
Breakfast could have some protein options, like eggs.

Location very close to the beach, metro and shops yet tucked away so it is very quiet.
Air con at night is too cold. Breakfast needs cereal to be included.

This was the perfect place as a solo traveler. I rented a private room. It's nothing fancy but it did the job, it was clean and had hot showers. I was very worried being in Rio alone but this hostel is in a great and safe location. It's one block away from Ipanema Beach, and you have a myriad of restaurant options as well. There is a lot of shopping nearby and there are two malls just a 15 minute walk away. The staff and Martha was also very friendly and helpful. Plus having breakfast included every day doesn't hurt either. I am really happy to have stayed here for my first time in Rio! Highly recommended

- The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful - Great location - Extremely good value for money
There seemed to be some problems with water overflowing in the bathroom which was a bit unpleasant, but still manageable.

Decent stay, great location and all the basics taken care off. Breakfast and coffee was also good and the bed was comfortable.
Just watch out for the entrance. A little hidden but not hard to find.

Breakfast and location were fantastic. 1 block away from the beach. The beds were good, the bottom bunk had plenty of head room. Wifi was great. Showeres were good.
No outlets near the beds. They worked with me though, and I was able to use the provided extension cord combined with the one that I bring. The biggest room was on the highest floor! There was no outside place to dry clothes.

Very friendly staff, help with every question and give best advices for travelling. Reception is 24/7. Offer breakfast. Restaurants and grocery shopping are reachable by foot in a few minutes. Good wifi connection. Pretty close to Ipanema beach. Offer lockers with keys, so you dont have to bring your own.
Not easy to find, even Uber drivers dont know exactly the place and have to make a u-turn to get you there. But once you know, its perfectly to reach. Safe place to stay in Brazil for single travellers. Breakfast is good, just missed something with proteins. Kitchen is not easy to use (gas and cleaning).
