The staff on reception are wonderful, friendly, helpful.
The bedroom was not cleaned properly EVER! Dust in corners, beach sand never swept off floor, floor never washed (it was dirty enough to make the soles of the feet grimy). The only thing the bedroom staff did was make the beds.
Also, the breakfast area was continually short of cutlery, cups, bread, and the scrambled egg was hard and not well made. Staff in this area were obliging and with the exception of one young waiter seemed oblivious to guests' needs, ie, an uncomplicated breakfast.
We broached the subject of the unclean bedroom with reception staff, who took it on board but really I didn't feel anybody really cared. Just because a hotel is 3 star doesn't mean it has to be badly maintained, with the veneer on the bedroom furnishings peeling, and dust in corners. Your site only allows me to put up one image of the room but I have several more
Worst hotel we've ever stayed in and unfortunately we paid in advance. Otherwise we'd have left snd gone somewhere else.

The 'ocean' view really depends if you have a room on the side or in the middle. I had one on the side, meaning I saw the ocean but nothing else while there is an amazing view in front of you. The side rooms are in my opinion not worth the extra money you pay.
They should install ventilation in the bathroom as you can see mold forming in the walls and the shower.
Breakfast is ok but on a busy weekend morning they are quite slow at refilling things or don't even refill some and leave an empty plate - should be better if you expect many guests in the weekend.
Beds are ok but you can feel they are quite old.

Lovely hotel by the beach great views, friendly staff, and a very nice room, the balcony was a bonus for the view, would have been perfect if it had not rained the whole of my time in Rio, but I'm English and used to that :)

Beach was very Close.
I booked the luxury room for 2. The room was very old and smelled like old things. The lavatories was dirty and rust was there. I ask the staff to cancel my room ne again this is NOT a 4 star hotel and not a luxury room. To the question, what is the luxury on the room beachside all rooms looks same, was the answer: the view to the beach.
Staff was very rude if we ask to cancel and told them our problem. They spoke Portuguese each other ( they told if they dont want a new room then they have bad luck. We could understand Portuguese but he dont knew it.
Very poor hotel and absolutely NOT a 4 star hotel. For the price what u got is it very ridiculous and rude

The apartment was neat and comfy. All clean. Sea front view is absolutely amazing! Helpful staff :) It was a great stay and Ill consider as first choice when back in Rio.
A nice modern coffee machine at the breakfast would make my day :). Air conditioning working properly but a bit noisy.
