Good location for us nearby the venue (visited the concert)

The beach at Barra da Tijuca is a great pick. Promenade on the other hand as just too far from the beach.
The breakfast was fair enough, nothing extraordinary. Could have more variety of options. The room was ok but needs some renovation. The curtains are very old and lack maintenance and cleaning (blackout curtains are just rottens). Cleanliness was also disapointing. Finally, we asked for a crib but it was in such a bad condition (very, very old with stains and dirty) we prefered poutting the baby to sleep on the sofa.

Sunny property, comfy room, staff were all really nice. Joao Vitor and Ana Lucia were particularly helpful and kind.
An outdoor pool would have been nice, or a shuttle to the beach.

The room was spacious and looked nice. The breakfast was tasty as well. There’s usually at least one English-speaking staff available at reception. Good value for money.
This hotel is not in a walkable location (I knew this ahead of time but just a fair warning to other potential guests), but if you use Uber/taxis, you’ll be okay. My biggest issue, though, was cleanliness. The couch in my room was dirty - it had visible stains. I avoided using it altogether. There were also tiny ants in the bathroom, particularly around the toilet. I also spotted a few later inside the room. The WiFi was also sometimes spotty in my room.
