Excellent hotel. No curfew. Good location for those comfortable with central Rio. Some nice restaurants around. Daily room service, breakfast and free wifi. Nice sized room with plenty of closet space. Was able to pay extra and check out in the evening. Don't be put off by the old adult hotel name it's just a nice hotel with mirrored ceilings.
Due to old sauna the room did get warm so AC needs to be always on.

nice and attentive staff. family and I are not from Brazil so they were patient when we needed translation. have breakfast, and just enough of what you need for a short stay

the room was big and comfortable, the staff is friendly and helpful, close to Sumbadrome if you are there for the Carnaval, as we were, it is also close to the Cathedral, metro station, if you manage to walk there
the area, but probably like the whole city center is not very comfortable for walking in the evening and night, better to take a taxi even for a short distances. It is close to Sambadrome, and we actually walked there and back on Carnaval event

The room has a jacuzzi, hot sauna and wide bed. Breskfast was very pleasant. It's a love motel converted to a traveller's hotel I guess.

Disappointing
Breakfast was really good and varied during our stay. The room was also clean, as well as the bathroom.
You should know that this is or was a former Sexhotel! Its nowhere written in die comments but we were shocked when we arrived. The whole room smells like cigarettes and smoke, theres also a little note telling you should beware of sexual transmitted diseases and when you enter the room theres red light shining. If you enjoy a room full of mirrors, great. I definitely felt watched all the time. They told us that the hotel was only for tourists nowadays and they just didnt modify the rooms - actually I didnt quite believe that.
