I requested an invoice in person to multiple staff members, over the phone, over email, all multiple times and they never sent me an invoice. I needed this for work so I don’t recommend going if you need a proper invoice for work travel.

Disappointing
The beds and shower were comfortable.
The airco was extremely noisy and we even felt the vibrations of the one of our neighbours. We wanted to leave some luggage at the hotel after we left and even pay for that, but they wouldn't help us. It was all a bit charmless and poor service

easy and close walk to the main area of copacabana beach. A few restaurant and bar choices nearby. the paid parking was convenient

The rooms were very large and comfortable. The hotel is very close to the beach and the staff was very nice and spoke good English.
The hotel restaurant's was not very good I highly recommend going to the restaurants outside of the hotel.

The doormen are nice and the shower stream is very strong.
The building is very old, looks nothing like the photos. You can hear every door in the building such that it’s very noisy throughout day and night, interrupting sleep of even deep sleepers. Every now and then a smell of smoke is coming from the ventilation, waking you up in the morning to a pleasant smoking smell in the room. Finally, the floor is dirty so it’s disgusting to walk without shoes.

The hand shower was excellent. Very good water pressure in the shower, comfortable room with room service. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Less than 5 minutes walk to the beach. The 18th floor pool, bar was good.
A hand shower in the bath would help. Missing body lotion. A lot of Americans visit wouldn’t an adapter be useful? Portuguese menus don’t help visitors! Next time I’ll try the other Windsors in the area.

The staff went above and beyond! Every single person we interacted with was amazingly kind and helpful. Cannot say thank you enough to everyone at the Windsor that made our stay so memorable. The view was also amazing!!!!!
The hotel is a bit dated, but truly did not mind that much.

The pool could have been a little bigger and deeper, but overall it was a minor thing. The rooftop had a great view of the city and the beach.

Location is excellent and no complaints about my large comfortable room. I also really enjoyed the rooftop pool and bar area with its views across the beach. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout...helping me negotiate the metro and lending me a Brazilian power adaptor.
BUT...there is virtually NO INTERNET at this hotel. As a traveller who needed to keep in touch with family and work and also organise onward travels this was a massive frustration and let down. For a hotel of this standard and charging these prices it is simply not good enough. Internet worked about 15% of the time during the week I was there, so I had to pay through my own server back home. $$$. Reception even told me it was always this bad, so if that is something you need during your stay, best to avoid this hotel.

Great location and friendly staff at the entrance. Check in process took forever and reception personal was not solution oriented. Hotel feels like time travel into the 80s/90s with limited effort for renovations.

Great location (walking distance to the beach), overall very clean and comfortable, the staff is really helpful, there is a gym and a rooftop pool, room service is really handy if you want your morning coffee but don't want to get out of bed.
The internet connection is really bad, and the furniture is a bit old. The rooftop pool is really small, maybe 3-4 people can fit and there are like 3 lounge chairs in total.
