This was a condo-style accomodation with a beautiful, full kitchen. It was spotless and we had a very lovely, spacious unit, with plush towels, gas fireplace and good coffee (supplied). We enjoyed the outdoor pool (very warm) and hot tub while there. Parking was very easy. I highly recommend Blackstone Mountain Lodge, especially if staying an extended period of time as the kitchen would be great to have. A short/easy drive into downtown Canmore and not far from the epic ski mountains and we also enjoyed Canmore Nordic Center, which is also close by.

We arrived at the hotel around 9 PM and encountered several issues during our stay. First, the bathroom sink was partially clogged, making it difficult for water to drain properly. We called the front desk to request assistance in setting up the sofa bed, but they told us that the housekeeping department was already off-duty and that we had to do it ourselves. However, we weren’t even provided with blankets or pillows.
Additionally, the shampoo and body wash provided by the hotel were very small and not of great quality—I’d recommend bringing your own toiletries. The hot spring pool was extremely small and overcrowded, making it hard to enjoy.
