Room was clean, comfy with plenty of space. Nice pub restaurant although I didn't eat there.
Bed was a little creaky, but comfortable. That is until 7am in the morning when a truck started cleaning the drains for the hotel, right outside my window. A bit too early. I had also booked an extra night so had two separate bookings. Reception couldn't offer me the same room for both nights despite the fact they were both king rooms. Offered to upgrade at a cost of 80 dollars. Found out later on Booking.com I could have got it cheaper, so not impressed.

2nd stop of our road trip from Calgary to Vancouver, we spent 1 night at The Georgetown Inn. What we liked: + Great base for exploring Canmore and its surroundings (Bow River Loop, Grassi Lakes, Policeman's Creek Boardwalk, and many more) + Very comfortable bedding + Superb room, extremely spacious and well-organized + Helpful receptionist who advised us on local trails and kindly provided a bear spray + Pleasant pub within the hotel with decent food + Excellent value for money
What we liked less: - Reserved more than 8 months in advance requesting a quiet room but ended up between the reception and the entrance. Fortunately, the noise from passersby was minimal.

Enjoyed the breakfast, which had more options that strictly bacon and eggs. The restaurant is cozy and interesting (lots of Canmore history). Next time we'll try the world famour fish and chips.
The bed was a bit firmer than what I am used to, but still very comfortable and I slept well.

The rooms were spacious and the bed was comfortable. The decore was lovely. I also appreciated the in room tea service. Very charming as it reminded me of vacationing in the UK.

The beds were extremely comfortable and clean. There was an electric fireplace which added to the ambience. Lighting for each bed was excellent for bedtime reading. Lovely choices for in room teas and coffee. Beautiful Chinaware as well.

Very clean and comfortable!! Food was excellent and staff very welcoming and friendly. Quaint rooms. Loved the decor- Spa like towels and robes. Tea service set/cookies a nice welcome touch Loved the claw foot bathtub and fireplace!!
