the rooms were old and dilapidated. the room cupboard had broken doors, they did not have any wine glasses in the room, the toilet was not fixed firmly on the ground

Positive notes: great location, spacious room and bathroom, nice lobby bar w a vast selection of teas and wine. Breakfast is good for Beijing, nice selection and no crowds. Overall, the impression is very positive.
Negative notes: if you look closely around the room, you ll see the worn-out signs like yellow stains on the bathroom ceiling or grey dirt marks where the carpet connect with the room walls.

The hotel was excellent, a very clean environment. The breakast was amazing. They also make gluten free meals.

I couldnt figure out how to use the power outlet in the bathroom. I got there late the night before and had to leave early for my flight the next morning.

My third stay at Wanda Vista this year, very good hotel, nice decor and helpful staff. Compared to my first stay, I noted higher number of English speaking staff.
Every time I come at Wanda Vista there are some minor aspects - that could be easily fixed - that make my stay good but not excellent. This time, one spotlight in the shower was not fixed/installed correctly.

Rooms and lobby are quite nice and very consistent with the quality one would expect at a Sofitel. Service also was good.
The food was quite dreadful this visit. I have lived in Beijing for five years. I have visited the sixth floor French restarant for special occations many times. This time the food was quite poor. I hope an exception and things return to normal.
