Ludvik, the good soul of the hotel!! He is the best host, and entertainer, I have met in the past 7 month non-stop travelling!! He is always in good spirit, and super helpful
I loved the old wooden floor crackling noise when walking around. A very charming hotel right in the centre of Karlovy Vary.
All clean, good breakfast, confortable quiet room.

Basically - everything. The building is beautiful, the room was big with an amazing view. The owner, Ludwig, was really nice and helpful and really made our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Breakfast is excellent, lots of choices and everything is fresh! The street is quiet and nothing disturbed our sleep. Location is great! 20 minutes walk to train\bus main station, 3 minutes walk to Diana cable car and 5 minutes walk to almost all the springs. Lots of caf and restaurant nearby with many different food choices. This hotel was really a great choice and I will recommend it to friends and family for their visit to Karlovy Vary
The only thing I can point out that the room had a kitchen with a kettle and glasses but no tea or coffee in the room and if you want to drink in your room after the reception is closing, you can't.

Magnificent town, excellent location of the hotel, and super charming staff. The price was very reasonable, too (bear in mind tho this hotel doesn't offer spa)
Impossible to get a kettle in the room ("due to fire safety concerns"). Seems to be a general trend in Czechia, though

We booked the apartment and it exceeded our expectations. Have you watched Last Holiday with Queen Latifa? Remember the hotel? Well the balcony (attached to bedroom and living room) has the best view of that resort right over the river! The room is HUGE, the bed is comfortable, and the shower or bath option was perfect as me and my fianc prefer different options. A note to tourists who are not here for just spas. This hotel is a minute walk to the Diana Funicular. We went for a walk up Slovenska, to Friedrich Schiller Monument, up into the hills for multiple towers, sights, and views then went back home via the Diana Funicular to save our knees and shins. It was a great use of our day. The staff here are incredible, especially the gentleman working on the day we left. Thank you.
The photos. I had some anxiety about what the room would be like as the photos are dreary and outdated. I can promise you it is a lot prettier than that. We had a kitchen but the supplies were lacking. There wasn't utensils or plates just a pot, a pan, one cup, and one mug. Not a big deal as we were out and about all day.

Nice hotel located in the spa district of Karlovy Vary, very close to all the main attractions. Hotel located in beautiful historical building. The room was spacious and fairly well kept, equipped with a safe and mini-fridge. Friendly staff. Tasty breakfast.
The room needed some renovations/repairs - e.g. the shower floor had some cracks that were temporarily "repaired" with silicone. The mattresses, though still fairly comfortable, could be replaced.

A wonderful hotel that has a bit of Karlovy Vary luxury feel, but that is low cost. You get a really nice room. It's worth paying extra for breakfast.
The hotel closes at 19:00 (you get a key to open it), so if there is something missing in your room (in my case - toilet paper) it's hard to get it immediately. Wi-fi signal is not strong.
