We had a very calm weekend, and loved our experience in the hotel. The room was very clean and had much light during the day, we had a quite night. The breakfast is excellent.

The location is great, the rooms are nice and comfortable
The check in was a nightmare, We spent over one hour. It is done at another hotel where only one person is doing this. And the visitors need to queue in a narrow lobby. Probably checking in before or after the check in time would have helped avoid this

Diffucult to park. The hotel does not have parking. The check-in must be done in another near-by hotel.

We loved the location and the view.
The bed was also clean and very comfortable.
A tiny recommendation for the breakfast area improvement: you could add cards naming the dish to understand what is inside of the chafing dish to avoid unnecessary opening all of them or to understand which kind of filling the pastry has.

The room and the pillows not very comfy. The reception is in another hotel down the street. The breakfast was not as expected.

excellent location. the hotel building is a historical, beautiful building. wonderful view from the balcony on the central street and the river.
it was a surprise that chek in/ chek out and breakfast are in a different building, but still the service was excellent and the breakfast was delicious.

Excellent value for money. It is located in the city center, the beds are comfortable, breakfast was included
The cleaning lady was quite rude. The checkout was supposed to be at 10am but we were able to extend it until 11am. Aroun 10:15, she knocked on the door and was telling us that she needed to clean, when I explained that we were given more time, she snorted and was angry about it.
But the staff at the reception was very nice and helpful. Just the cleaning lady was rude

The hotel was centrally located.
Our room was clean and probably recently refurbished.
There was no shower gel set up in the bath room.
The staff barely spoke English, therefore we were able to get the shower gel by our last night.
Although we loved everything and everyone, this was slightly uncomfortable..
The reception of Hotel Elefant is located in Hotel Atlantic, which also caused a bit of anxiety upon arrival. We haven’t been made aware of this prior the trip. Luckily I had the phone number to call and the receptionist was able to explain in German where to check in. Luckily I understand German.
