I was locked on the balcony, be careful with the door, it can only open from inside of the room.

The breakfast was very good and the location was within a short walking distance. Our room was simple and basic, but nice and clean.
I would have liked it if it had a coffee maker, but it was no big deal.

Great location. Clean room, comfortable bed with access to small balcony. Nice coffee shop with excellent coffee tables out side on ground floor.
Shower was poorly designed. Narrow shower enclosure prevented bending down to was legs and feet and shower faucet handle was at elbow height so bumping into resulted in accidentally hitting it to change water temperature. No shelf to put shampoo or soap in shower enclosure.

The hotel is situated in a great area, right in the middle of the city centre of Karlovy Vary, we were very close to all the good restaurants and events happening there. Good breakfast selection, and the staff was really nice.
The room didn't particularly smell very nice on the arrival, also the reception for checking in and out is not in the same building. You get one key for all the doors (downstairs to enter the hotel, and our room) which was very suspicious to us, and I wish that the tap water with mint and lemon offered at the breakfast didn't cost the amount it costed. At 10am, we were ready to check out, we were a bit in a hurry and the receptionist wasn't there so we all had to wait. Nothing major, waited only like 5-10 minutes.

The Hotel was very clean. The rooms and passages are well lit. Enough storage space. Location is excellent. Near to city centre. Near to local bus stop.
The elevator needs an uplift.

Perfect location to wander the pedestrianized streets of Karlovy Vary. The breakfast (served in the sister hotel just down the street, a quick walk) was plentiful and very good. Comfortable bed and bedding.
A family (teenager and adults) across the hall were in two different rooms. They decided, at 11pm, to open their doors and have a conversation just yelling back and forth between themselves, as if they owned the floor and the hallway Since there is no front desk or personnel in the EA Elephant, I had.no choice but to handle it myself if we wanted any sleep. Although there was no common language, they understood by my facial expression that it was time to quiet things down. They did - but only a but.
In the morning, the same family were at breakfast at the same time as we were. They'd stacked as much fresh fruit as possible onto an extra plate and left with it! No one working in the breakfast room said anything to them.
Also, breakfast ended at 10am sharp (on Sunday). I would've loved another piece of fruit myself or glass of juice but *everything* was put away on the dot. I'll know for next time.

The location is ideal, and the room quite spacious (but with very narrow beds).
The hotels reception is in another hotel, some 200m away. Breakfast is served in that other hotel!!
One has to carry his luggage over a pedestrian bridge from the nearest point where a car may (illegally?) stop, 150m away. All public parking places around are reserved for other hotels guests, and the only option is to park in a public facility up the mountain. To return to the hotel, one needs to use a funicular which runs every 20 minutes at a moderate cost. Finally, the hotels clearly needs restoration.
