Exceptional
Saunas are available at the hotel, restaurant is very good. The hotel has a charm from the 1920s.
They could do more effort on wine selection, especially they should have some of good Czech wines.

We stayed on the sixth floor. The room was clean, overall ok, but nothing special. I loved massages, caffe near the lobby.
this is a historic hotel from 1912, but it does not mean they should keep mattrasses from the same year ;-) . They are terrible.
All hotel is decorated in dark red colors, seems they intentionally do not turn all lights on. Breakfast and dinner are really basic, not on the level of 5 star hotel. And I mean it. They have an option to upgrade the restaurant, but we did not used it. the last funicular leaves city center about 7 p.m., so after that time you have to walk up all they way to the hotel. the spa ( except massages and procedures) is also very basic, a small swimming pool, a tiny siting area and a Finnish sauna.

The food was quite a disappointment. There are 2 restaurants and a cafe on premises. All of them are far off from a 5 star hotel quality level - low diversity, average flavors, room service that charges you 300 CZK to bring you salt…

Beautiful garden, great views, very clean. Service personnel in the Breakfast/Dinner area were exceptional.
I was late for a few minutes for the special bath and stuff rudely said it was immediately cancelled. I understand that bath has to be of certain temperature but there is a way how to communicate this to a guest. Also, I was never told I had to be there at exact time because otherwise a bath would be cancelled. If it is so strict then Personnel needs to highlight that to clients. We are on vacation and it is a challenge to keep a track of time. It took me by surprise, especially the tone.

The rooms and general amenities were nice as expected. The restaurant is also good.
The personnel were attentive and spoke good English. Valet service was fine too.
The SPA is old and requires deep renovation. Almost all procedures were closed on Sunday, which is nonsense.
200+ euros per night is too much for this.

The location was fun, up on a hill with a beautiful view, there was a funicular to take us to town. The breakfast was pretty good.
Being in this hotel was not a vacation, we stayed in a construction site, the noise started early in the morning and the staff could care less and did nothing to help us. When we called the front desk, one receptionist hung up on me because I didn't speak Czech. The front office manager was useless as well, she promised to get back to me and never did. The staff in the spa were terrible too, nasty. We chose to go to a different spa in town. The hotel has definitely seen better days. It was probably once beautiful, but through years of neglect it looks tired and dirty. I would not recommend this hotel!

Many amenities and super comfort.
Hotel front desk employees were not able to talk about opening times of the other amenities or hairdresser. You have to walk to every place and ask on your own, if you of course find somebody there. It is one place but seems to be different companies selling services inside. Not nice.
