It is in a great location and across the street is the big thermal pools. The staff is very nice and helpful.
The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The only thing was the room needed a little updating

Great location with a balcony looking onto the canal. Buffet breakfast & dinners were all good. We enjoyed our spa treatments. Access to the Wellness facility was nice although the hot tub could have been hotter.
Jets in warm pool didn’t work & hot tub could have been hotter.

A very good hotel; great location, comfortable large and clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff.
Spa facilities and services are very good. The spa space is rather small, but if there are not many visitors, it is great ( in our case we were mostly alone in the pool area).
Private parking exists, but has a limited space and one has to pay extra (15-20 Eur) per night.
No Smart TV.

Nice location, spaces room, good food. Nice relaxing procedures in the health centre.
Very Cold pool, not pleasant at all, cannot be used in cold winter time ! Spa is too small, Not comfortable for more than 3-4 people. Property is old, carpets in the rooms are to be changed, smell of old drenage in the toilet.

Well, where to begin?
- The beds/mattresses were beyond awful. No matter if you like soft/hard or is young/old. Horrible and worn out, gave both me and my partner backpain.
- Room was old and worn out. Sink cracked and just a bad room in general.
- The receptionists aswell as the majority of the staff were not nice and especially not very helpful. It was quite chocking at times. Asked for extra pillows, it was a "bad time" to ask because receptionist was about to eat.... Had to wait over 1 hour to get the pillows, which arrived without the pillow case on... Our car that we had parked in there area was blocked. We needed to go to a different location, made a last minute reservation. Staff in the reception told us we should have said something earlier and made it a problem. Had to wait 10 min for it to get sorted. There is more but just to sum it up, not a pleasant experience with the staff.
- The "Spa" is a joke. Pool is minimal, the whirlpool broken and small. Do not book this place if you think there is a spa. Or rather go to the actual spa down the road, 5 min walking.
- 4 stars? Maybe if you look to the sky in the evening. Place is MAXIMUM 3 stars.
- Overall not happy with the stay.

Stylish and beautiful clean rooms.
Excellent swimming pool with thermal water and a great spa.
Quiet area and quiet hotel.
Very good breakfast.
Good buffet lunch and dinner.
The reception staff (except Irina) are very rude, never smile, never make you feel welcome.
Many of the hotel staff don’t have basic English.
I was at Hotel Humboldt Park in July 2024 and enjoyed it very much. Mid November I spent 3 days and had a very unpleasant experience. This is why I can not recommend this hotel.
Before booking, I called the hotel two times to check if the spa and the swimming pool were open and working, and I was assured they were. When I arrived the next day, I was told that the spa and the swimming pool were going to be closed for 1,5 days because of the ‘Sanitary day’, so instead of 3 days of using them, I had 1,5. I complained and wanted to talk to the manager. The manager didn’t come to the hotel during my stay, but the polite receptionist Irina offered me a therapy from their Balneo Therapy Centre as a compensation. I booked a 45 min reflexology foot massage. After 30 min the massagist finished it. I asked why. The massagist, who didn’t speak any foreign language, called the Balneo Centre nurse with a basic English, who rudely said: ‘For you it is 30 min!! We have other customers to attend!’ (by the way, I doubt the qualifications of this nurse as she insisted several times that gout, my health problem, is an ‘ingrowth of toe‘s nail’ . I was shocked by her lack of knowledge and her aggressive rudeness. Nobody apologized for me for what has happened, instead I was treated as a trouble maker. Needless to say, I will not return to this hotel.
I believe you should stay away from the Hotel Humboldt Park because of the rude staff, although their spa and pool are beautiful. If you have no problem and don’t talk to anybody in the hotel, your stay may be pleasant. Their staff’s lack of customer skills, their rudeness and carelessness and lack of foreign languages, make this place, in my opinion, totally unacceptable.

The hotel itself was well located and a beautiful building. Quiet and too had all the facilities. Staff was friendly and helpful.
The spa facilities were disappointing. The whirlpool wasn’t working by the end of my stay and the water in the pool was too cool to be in. The lounge area by the spa was cold too.
The treatment area was a bit chaotic and the one person I was directed to to book additional treatment was very blunt.

Everything was great except for moments when we have to deal with Reception lady.
1. Reception lady was absolutely incompetent and rude, customer disoriented. Very unprofessional.
2. We arrived late at the dinner and there was almost nothing left. We were not warned about this prior to starting our food otherwise we would go to another place.

The staff was so accommodating and sweet ! She saw that I was lugging two huge bags so she very kindly allowed me to check in early. It was located in a wonderful location; the room had everything I needed and super comfortable for one person; would definitely return again ! Breakfast was also a decent spread and I enjoyed the option to eat at the terrasse.
At times I struggled with the poor wi-fi connection in my room.

It has a great location in the town centre. The sauna, steam room, and hot tub were excellent, and breakfast and dinner had good food choices. I followed a specific diet and could choose food according to my requirements. All the staff are nice and supportive and professional.
The mattresses and pillows could be better.

Good location, very close to hotel Thermal and 15 min walk from main bus & railway station. Billa supermarket at 5 min walk from hotel. Recommend to take room with balcony.
At the top floor sauna, small swimming pool and jacuzzi are available from 9:00 till 20:00. Sauna is open from 16:00. Breakfast & dinner are quite good. Majority of people were speaking Russian, Ukrainian and English.
Old rooms, feeling that you in area from 90th. Curtains are dirty and with cigarets marks.

Good location. Close to hotel Thermal & bus station. Quite area with indoor swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi at the top floor.
Good selection at breakfast & dinner.
Hotel is 3*, not 4. A little bit overpriced.
