Everything. Lovely staff, well-prepared food, clean rooms, great pool and spa… the location is perfect, too. The building might be old, but it is beautifully built, and maintained with pride. This is not some soulless, modern chain hotel, but a gem of old world hospitality. The staff were unfailingly kind and helpful throughout our stay, and couldn't have been lovelier. We had breakfast and dinner there for three days, and we were pleasantly surprised by the effort they made. The salads were always fresh and varied, as was the selection of hot dishes. My friend pronounced the various local meat dishes to be very tasty, and there was always at least one type of fish on offer. The pool and sauna area is kept exceedingly clean, and is an oasis of serenity. Get a room with a view if you can.
The only thing that I would respectfully suggest is that the breakfast cereals/ nuts are stored in a more airtight fashion. But this is a minor issue in an otherwise wonderfully run hotel

Very Poor
The location was good and the staff were friendly.
When we wanted to check in at 4 pm, our room was not ready. We got infected from the toilets or swimming pool and had some digestion problems. More importantly, I have been bitten by bedbugs. Of course the hotel management did not accept it.

Simply just the location.
This hotel does not deserve 4 stars. There is no private parking, and if you need one, it costs €25 per day. The staff is completely unfriendly, especially during breakfast – the waiters act as if you owe them something. The buffet offers the same breakfast every day, with no variety. Although coffee was included in the breakfast, the waiters charged us extra for it. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and I would not recommend this hotel.

Excellent stay! The superior room on 3rd floor with the balcony was spacious and had great view to the city center and the river creek (pls check my photos). Efficient, speedy and smiley check-in / out … so compliments to the lady with the blue eyes (sorry , I don’t know her name) who also gave us great recommendations for sightseeing, restaurant, spa alternatives and useful advice about how to drink the thermal springs water to avoid stomach issues. Comfy mattress was also important for sleep comfort. The rooftop pool and sauna was a nice addition.
The hotel doesn’t have its own parking … they can arrange a spot to nearby hotels upon availability OR you have to park at the hilltop parking and either walk 10mins or use the funicular. Nevertheless you now that before booking so my rating is still perfect 10

The receptionists were polite and attentive and always ready to help. The rooms were exceptionally clean. The pool and sauna were always available with plenty of towels and towels. We had snacks and dinner. The food was exceptionally delicious. Thank you to the entire team for the kindness and time we had.

We had to run down to the reception every time, cause the phone didn't work. The staff was friendly but forgot about whatever we needed. The cleaning service didn't clean up the room properly, we cleaned after them. The sauna is tiny, nobody seemed in charge, tons of used towels and guests who didn't respect basic hygiene rules. Seems all in all a bit like an abandoned place.

Very good place of this hotel! The main street is near by which is plenty of restaurants, shopping places.
Hotel needs renovation!!! Temperature regulators on the heating cells are not working and you will be pushed to be in hot or cold room, nothing in between. The same is with bathroom. Breakfast was good but with very poor choice. As I wrote, hotel has 4 start 10 years ago, but now it can have 2, no more.

Room was big and warm. Big bathroom, all necessary was there. Hotel is little old style, but location and view from the restaurant covers it up. Elevator was also big and comfortable as well.
Spa - expected more. It was just small swimming pool and one sauna. Massages were a bit expensive. Breakfast and dinner were ok, but nothing special. Instead of 3 types of eggs could be mushrooms for example. Only one coffee machine where people were queuing up. Nice cake for dinner, but it was only one and finished quickly.

Great location. Specious room. Comfy beds. Good size bathroom. Great stay
Spa can get very busy at times especialy in the evenings. Not blaming hotel but some parents need to look after their kids in the swimming pool as their behaviour was not acceptable. Might benefit having a member of staff keeping an eye on the spa section to avoid this situations.
