We ordered half board, so including dinner. It would be great if there was always a vegetarian option available. Now you have to ask in advance and we did not know. Luckily we got something vegetarian.
When we were there it was very quiet. If the hotel is fully booked the spa can feel a bit cramped

Nice surroundings of the hotel overlooking the forest. Large swimming pool with unlimited available saunas and jacuzzi. Bathrobes and towels for the pool. Interesting and unusual decor, like in a real castle. An intimate hotel.
No air conditioning in the rooms, damaged toilet seat and bathroom in need of refurbishment.

Very good breakfast, nice pool, but hotel was getting full, then the pool is a bit small and no massages possible, as they were fully booked, but it did not seem there was more then one massage staff, which is a pitty for 60+ rooms. Staff very friendly. Nice woods as surroundings, good for a quiet holiday, as there is nothing at all in the direct surroundings
there is no T mobile or O2 signal at all, however internet was good.

This is a experience spa hotel. You get the spa experience but also you stay in a 600 year old castle in the middle of the forest, so it is quite a unique place. We particularly liked the breakfast (ok for vegetarians, might be tricky for vegans, but you can contact them before to for dietary requirements). The spa is also really good with plenty of options for massages and skin treatments. The 2 saunas and jacuzzi by the pool are also really relaxing. We really loved our time here and will come back for sure.

Some of the elderly guests are not so welcoming with families there, and it is NOT the hosts fault! The castle is fabulous, workers are nice and warm welcoming! Overall 10/10 ! Keep up the great work!

Rooms were great and the entire outside looked fantastic, but there were no signs for the Reception area except for a small sign in front of the door in Czech. The reception staff was rude and unwelcoming. The hallways were on timers so it was never on and caused us to leave the room partly in the dark. The rooms had no amenities' like wash clothes when you shower, no lotions or other toiletries items provided. There was only 1 hand towel for two people. No coffee maker, stationary or slippers, just a robe. The light in the reception area of the room was flickering and a bulb was broken. When I brought it to the attention of the reception I was greeted with shoulder shaking and a rude ok and then marched up to my room with my door card as if I was making this up and then just took the flickering bulb out and when asked if it will get replace she said in the morning. I told her that this was booked for only 1 night and she shook her shoulders and said and?, next morning. The room was dark and I voiced my objection to it and she just shook her shoulders. I had to accept it. The mattress was extreme hard and caused me to have pain in my hip, but the pillows were very comfortable. There is no AC in the hotel or rooms, which makes the rooms hot a muggy. The pool was nice , but the tiled floor was extremely slippery. At night we wanted to have something to drink from the bar, which was open all night, but you had to get your drink from the reception. The woman there hardly understood English and no German. I ordered coffees and she charged them to my room. The coffee were given to me in a extra small paper cup and half filled. When questioned why she made a face and said that this was all. 4 Star hotel with paper cups and attitude? The area was quiet, but there was a smell of shashlik in the area around all floors. The breakfast was ok and the room was splendid. Lastly, the area was listed as close to Carlsbad, but it was very far away and insolated in the woods.

The hotel is very unique and our kids absolutely loved that it's in a castle. The location is so quiet and peaceful. The staff were helpful and we enjoyed using the pool in the hotel spa.
Some air conditioning in the rooms would be helpful.
