This was a stunning hotel that's had kept it old touches perfectly! Breaky was great and the free coffee, tea and pastries throughout the day are perfect, better if enjoyed in the sitting room

Great location and excellent breakfast. Overall, the hotel is superb but truly operates at an exceptional '3-star plus' level, not a four-star one. Furthermore, the rooms and beds were notably small. I also experienced abrupt, freezing bursts of water during the shower—a potential maintenance issue that requires immediate attention. A good stay, but be aware of the small room size and the actual star rating.
The rooms, including the beds, felt significantly undersized, which made the stay feel cramped. More critically, I experienced an intermittent and sudden drop in shower water temperature—a very cold surge—while showering. This was disconcerting and potentially hazardous. While this specific issue may have been isolated to my room, it warrants immediate investigation.

Hotel was beautiful and location was excellent. Good breakfast and comfortable beds.
Room air was stale and no airconditioning. So we have to keep window open for most of the time.

A place I will definitely return to.
The hotel is cozy, warm, and rich in history, where everyone truly cares about the comfort and enjoyment of their guests. Location more than perfect! The breakfast is fantastic, the rooms are impeccably clean, the linens wonderfully soft, and the welcome genuinely family-like.
I wish the hotel many guests and hope that this family business continues for a very long time.
The soundproofing is a little lacking, but everything else is so perfect that you hardly even notice it.

It was a pleasure to stay at Hotel Hastal during our trip to Prague. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast absolutely delicious, and the room conditions were excellent, with great cleanliness and all the amenities we needed. I will gladly recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to travel to Prague.

The location of the hotel is ideal. Five minutes to the main square but in a quiet street away from the crowds. The decor of the hotel is amazing, like stepping into 1920's Prague. You get an actual key and not a keycard which was again a step back in time. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Comfortable and spotlessly clean room. Breakfast was really good. Loads of choice.
There wasn't anything I didn't like.
