The location is the only plus I can see with this Hotel.
The whole Hotel is old and needs refurbishment.
The furniture is old and not well maintained.
It is not so clean. The furniture in our room was dirty.
The windows are very old. Wood and glass since 70's, I guess.
The furniture is scratched.
The bathroom is small with old sanitary fixtures.
There is no bath towel support in the bathroom. Only a hook for a small towel. You have to put the towels on the radiator.
The restaurant is in the basement. No natural light.
The breakfast is pretty poor and not very tasty.
The Hotel is advertised on Booking that is offers free parking. This means that you can park the car somewhere on a nearby boulevard with high traffic. You might find a place (if you are lucky) 2-3 km away.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel; it is in a convenient location, with pleasant staff and about the standard I expected in all regards. Plus the breakfast was great, I thought.
This is one of the traditional older hotels, so expect a bit of noise, both from neighbouring rooms and from the street – this is pretty normal, though, at these hotels, I am not even criticising it.
One minor point of annoyance for me was that I made an arrangement for the reception to prepare my invoice for collection in the evening/next morning and they did not – I had to wait for them to complete it when checking out, which was inconvenient because I needed to leave. On top of this, the staff kept wasting my time both at check-in and check-out by unnecessary things like giving me a million different vouchers and explaining in detail in what cafes I could receive a discount for them, etc.
At departure, after giving me another voucher and a magnet, they actually asked me whether I would fill in the review in front of them before leaving, which I think was as absurd and shady as it was inconsiderate after having me wait for the invoice.
Everything else was great though, I thought – I would not hesitate to stay at the hotel again or recommend it to other people.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and were very pleased with the experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready to assist. Breakfast was excellent – varied, delicious, and suitable for all tastes.
The hotel's location is great – about a 20-minute walk to the city center, or you can easily hop on a tram. The bus station, trams, and metro are just a 5-minute walk away, which is super convenient.
The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. They also have a luggage room where you can store your bags before check-in or after check-out, which we found really helpful.
The only thing to keep in mind is that the walls are a bit thin, and since the hotel is located next to a busy road, it can get a little noisy at times. However, earplugs are provided, so it’s not a big issue if you're a light sleeper.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-connected place to stay in the city.

We stayed for 5 nights regrettably. The Hotel is very old and dated. It made our stay in Prague less pleasant to be honest. I would have never spent that kind of money on this room if the pictures and photos on-line were not so deceiving.
Mildew on shower walls; shower was clogged so the water was pulling. The housekeeping would not leave any soap for the whole stay. Only after I asked the front desk on the last day, they gave us another tiny bar of soap. The beds were so uncomfortable as well. The room was very small - there was barely any space for the luggage. No special stand to lay the suitcases on, so we had to pack everything into them every morning before leaving the room. The door was only possible to lock with a physical key from both outside or inside of the room. Very disappointing stay.

This was my second time at Hotel St George, and I am happy to say that they have maintained their fantastic service. The attention to detail, the extras like a bottle of wine in the room, the welcome drinks, and the variety of the breakfast, all communicate that they sincerely want to satisfy you. Good location, free parking, and great service - you get excellent value for your money.
We were happy with everything - keep up the excellent job. We'll be back :-)
