The hotel was under 5 minute walk from the town square, the whole of the old town and castle were a pleasant stroll away, amazing location, super friendly staff and a wonderful breakfast.

Location is what I yearn for. Surrounded with everything you needed. Steps from the main square. Staffs are nice and energetic. Special thanks to Iana who rapidly arranged the room and completed my early check in. Breakfast is plentiful with a cost of 16 I would count that is fairly reasonable.
Since the hotel is located in Old Town, the building structure is quite limited to some facilities such as elevator. Here, you will find the smallest elevator you have ever experienced which can hardly contain one person and one suitcase!! Furthermore carrying 25 kgs suitcase up/down the stairs to the top floor as the elevator cannot reach is very painful. Noise also another drawbacks. During the night, you will hear uncivilized drunk people shouted and yelled even after midnight. So please prepare.

The Josephine Old Town Square Hotel is middle of the price range in Pragues old town. The hotel staff, especially Iana was very polite and efficient. The hotel itself is very central, clean, and attractive. The extras in the room including a bottle of red wine, as well as tea and coffee making facilities are great!
There was a problem with the noise in the hotel. The room I had (number 43 on the top floor) is charming with one small window. It rained the entire time during my stay and the noise of the rain falling on the metal roofing outside the window was extremely irritating. In addition, the old town of Prague is suffering from a problem with young booze tourists who are out drinking cheap alcohol in the old town and are extremely loud and noisy all night. I finally managed to get a few hours sleep at around 2am in the morning. Sadly, according to the hotel management, the hotel cannot fit sound-proofed windows as it is a historical building. The city of Prague needs to solve this problem with Alcohol tourists before l consider another trip to Prague.

The stay at Josephine was exceptional. From arrival, I felt right at home. I would particularly like to thank receptionist Jana for her kindness and professionalism, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The entire hotel staff was professional and helpful, and the hotel was clean and comfortable. Moreover, the food was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be back and will recommend it to everyone.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Josephine in February 2024. The room was very large, stylishly furnished and very clean. From the start we felt super comfortable. The breakfast also left nothing to be desired. Especially Iana at the reception and Daria at the breakfast service helped us in every way. they were both super nice. We would book again at any time.

The whole vacation was perfect also thanks to the constant support of Iana, Anastasiia, Anastasia and Asem. We arrived at the hotel in the morning at 9 a.m. and really didn't hope to check in, but instead not only were we able to take possession of the room, but the wonderful Iana even gave us an upgrade. Special thanks to Anastasia (the brunette) for helping us even from a distance to deal with a taxi driver who did not speak a word of English (nor French or German). Thanks to the blonde Anastasia for advice on where to drink and eat, and speaking of food, thanks to Asem for all the thoughtfulness for us at breakfast. If you choose to visit Prague I highly recommend this hotel. We, for our part, will be back soon!

I had a fantastic experience at Josephine Old Town Square hotel. The service was outstanding and attentive. The rooms and the entire hotel were impeccably clean. Iana and Daria from the reception and breakfast were exceptionally helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service and welcoming atmosphere.

Amazing location, really friendly staff. Iana greeted us on arrival and we were made to feel very welcome. The room had a beautiful bohemian decor and was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and again service was superb.
