Hi. You wrote that you would like feedback. I often review trips and have specials in the Harz. Hereby, I would like to give you feedback. In general, the staff is friendly, but they have difficulty with English and therefore there are major misunderstandings. In general, in my review, I will dump the hotel despite it having good facilities. The price is too expensive overall for the room, parking, breakfast and taxes from the city. Compared to other hotels in the Harz, I experience incredibly poor rooms where it is quiet. The breakfast buffet was small because you pay about 20 euros. I experienced a misunderstanding about parking. An employee knew I had a parking space and I was charged more for parking in the price. Here, the hotel should have shown itself to the customer nicely and paid the remaining amount. The staff is friendly but would rather avoid the customers. The rooms were very quiet from the traffic outside, to the neighbors. The overall assessment that comes in my review of the hotel is a poor grade. This is the worst experience I have had in the Harz so far in 10 years. The hotel is particularly poor on the total price for a stay. compared to other hotels which are also in Bad Harzburg and Goslar. I recommend that Danes stay away. My recommendation to the hotel is that you give a total price package from the start so that customers can see through your hotel price. The hotel should be there for the customers, but it doesn't work like this.

We liked the spa, the pool was at a good temperature and was a nice size for the 10 or 12 people who were there with us. Any more would have been difficult. The saunas were amazing.
Breakfast was exceptional, although a little pricey. The staff in the restaurant were really friendly and helpful.
The mountain view was not what we imagined it would be. It was literally that the hotel was built on the side of the mountain and the view was of a clump of trees and dirty flat roofing. The first night my sleep was disturbed as it was freezing cold. We discovered the radiator for the second night, which was better. However, a thicker duvet and more blankets would have helped. The pillows were uncomfortable.

It was a very calm environment. Perfect for resting. You were able to declare that you don’t wanna be distrubed during the stay and have privacy in your room which worked pretty well. For not getting room service you got a free water. It was quiet during the night and the room was comfortable. The breakfast was amazing and perfect for vegans as well. We were surprised. There is a private entrance to a hike trail on the property of the hotel and you are able to join a guided walk on some days. Free water and apples all day. We went during christmas and the decorations were very cute too.
The pool is not separated from the spa area, so people are walking through the room every time they are trying to get to a sauna or spa activity and a lot of people were resting next to the pool which can be intimidating if you just wanna go for a swim and not into the spa. On Saturdays there is a party which can lead to people being less mindful when coming back to their room later in the evening.

Quiet room facing towards the woodland. Very accessible by public transport. Good starting point for hikes or longer walks. A positive note would be that the hotel noted the room issues and supposedly delisted the room from use.
Careful, the bathroom (1980s decor) had black mould in the shower and certain parts of the bathroom and the room weren't cleaned. Especially areas which are only reached with a bit of effort (behind doors, underneath furniture, etc.) weren't quite sorted out.
