With the amazing breakfast spread and the heart dinner from the attached restaurant, this was in a perfect location. Lots of trails nearby and a quick bus to the heart of Bamberg. Meeting the family and learning about this business made it even more special. My highlight is getting tips on how to use the public transport and what to see.
I do not have anything to add here.

Unbeatable prices and even includes a pretty cool breakfast.
Very far from city center. We booked two single rooms and they sent us to a double instead after our arrival (we would have appreciate an email during the previous days informing us about the situation).

The hotel is further away from Bamberg, but that's what we liked. The hotel is located in a quiet area, 30 minutes walk into Bamberg through a beautiful wooded park. If you want to drive in, you can get there in a few minutes, but there is also a bus service that stops near the hotel. Free parking is available. The wifi worked well and was fast. The room was large and comfortable, as was the bathroom. Breakfast had a great selection and the staff were very nice too. We had a very good time. The hotel is further away from Bamberg, which may not appeal to everyone, but the proximity to the park and the river make it worthwhile. So, for us there was nothing what we did not like.
