Everything! What a lovely place. Spacious and charming. Had everything you could need. Views were amazing. Town is beautiful. Host was a gentleman, despite our lack of German. Loved it here. Thanks for an idyllic end to our journey..

Nice that we have big areas in the flat, where 7 people could have breakfast etc.
"Garage" a bit over-sold. We had 7 motorbikes, and we could barely fit them in. So maybe "limited garage facilities" would be more appropriate - especially, as we had to pay extra for the garage. It would be great, if breakfast could be included in the package. Could see in the contract, that no smoking were allowed. OK with us, we are non smokers. But a HEAVY smell of tobacco smoke came up in the hallway from the floor downstairs. So I guess the "non-smoking" does not apply for Holger, who is the "landlord/Keyholder".

Very child friendly. Good cut of the rooms - every room keeps enough privacy. Good views from windows (third floor). Small backyard garden area.
Would not consider as "No like", but: - do not try to find assigned parking place, to places in front of the property and one more just somewhere around. - third floor apartments, that we was using - bathroom can be tight for "big" peoples. - not child proof - but easy to control.

The appartments are not marked with numbers which is annoying when arriving as you do not know which apartment to enter.
Prepayment necessary despite booking.com claim otherwise The house do not take credit cards to pay on site which is what booking.com is stating. Old style money transfer necessary - not Ok for a booking done by smart phone It is an old building which everything bears the sign of.

It is in a town inside the Harz mountains, not too big but convenient with every thing you need around you. The three bed-room apartment is comfortable, with all what is needed for a family holiday, especially during the present situation whereby one does not really want to dine in a restaurant. Near to many places for hiking, visits, etc.
