Very warm and happy welcome .
The cosy aspect of the hotel . The feeling of being at home.
The owners are lovely people with a big heart, they certainly made sure we were taken care of.

Very dog friendly, our dog was well received and they have good alternatives and rules to welcome the dog in the room and breakfast area even in rainy days.
Breakfast was diverse and fresh, and we could spontaneously take it without booking in advance.
Many parking options
The staff was very friendly with us and the dog. We had issues with the sauna and got a friendly gift as an apology from the staff.
There is no restaurant and the hotel is in the edge of town in a residential area.
The room walls were thin and we could hear conversations and singing in the shower from other rooms
The sauna fee is only for one hour and with very limited availability.
The cleaning service in the rooms was limited, the floors were not vacuumed.
The hotel has very good facilities except for sauna, but it is definitely not a four star hotel.

Everything was absolutely perfect, nice spacious room, with a lovely terrace with view to the garden.
Great breakfast.

I stayed for 4 nights and brought 2 dogs, they were also very welcome.

The facilities are great, staff is super nice and helpful, really friendly atmosphere. Location is very good. Every room has a balcony which is quite nice with a wonderful view of nature. It is very near the 3 supermarkets in town.

Very clean, super helpful staff, polite, nice pool, the hotel has a very nice character with good decorations and overall it is a very nice establishment.
Very soft mattresses, water saving tap with very low pressure, no mini fridge in the room.

Wonderful
The hotel was very comfortable and prefect for a relaxing vacation. It was a short walk or very short drive to the centre of the village, but located in a very quiet area. The room was comfortable with excellent furnishings, and a balcony overlooking the sunny garden ( we stayed during Summer ). The indoor pool was an added bonus, as was the sitting room which was furnished in the mountain style. A very tasty full breakfast was provided each morning with a particular favourite being the fresh fruit, and fresh bread / pastries.

Very nice hotel. Great location for hiking in Nationalpark Harz. Our room was on the ground floor and had a door into the hotel's garden, and we could often see birds hopping on the grass.
Bed mattresses were rather soft to our taste
