Location and available parking space.
Property was undergoing refurbishment. Not really a problem. Breakfast was just okay. Breakfast personnel not very happy or didnt know how to make scrambled eggs.

Central location, parking, good WiFi
My only slightly negative comment would be the reception location. Its not obvious its on the first floor. When you arrive it looks like everything is closed, all the lights are off and the place is closed down. Its really not obvious where the door or reception is. I actually helped 2 other guests who couldnt find reception and were walking around outside.

Excellent breakfast, clean comfy room, very friendly and helpful staff. We travelled by bicycle and they provided a secure garage for our bikes.

The hotel was closed. I could not make access. I was left walking around in the heavy rain with all my luggage trying to find somewhere else to stay. They had my Co tact details but didnt bother calling me.

beautiful, charming, exceptionally welcoming staff (I arrived at noon and could already go to my room; when I came back to the hotel, the restaurant was about to close, but urged me to stay, and the cook served an excellent local dish for me as their lonely last customer)

Location right in downtown, typical Fachwerkhaus in the Schwarzwald, good restaurant and breakfast. Bottle of water and snacks on arrival. Cozy atmosphere. You can reach the main square in a few steps. The view from the window is breathtaking. You can indeed enjoy a "black forest - experience"

We found getting to the hotel difficult as I hadn't realised it was in a Pedestrian area with only limited parking. Lucky for us there was a parking space. The hotel restaurant was very busy when we arrived but there was no problem getting a table. Good selection of local dishes. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was a good size.

A nice hotel established in a timber framed German house. Centrally located in Calw
The breakfast cost 10 EUR and is not worth it, as there are plenty of cafes nearby.
