The rooms were new and everything was feeling clean.
A bit noisy on Monday morning because of Some workers outside. No problems with noise in the night.

Very generous breakfast.
A bit noisy on the street outside at night but otherwise a nice spot. The room doors, though secure, are not sound proofed so small sounds from others jingling their keys in the hallway can easily be heard.

Location ok for purposes of our visit to Essen Spiel. Cheap. Positives end there. We were evicted summarily with around 15 hours notice during one of the buesiest times of the year. AVOID.
Rooms dirty. Terrible breakfast. Oh and all hotel guests were kicked out with less than 24 hours notice in the middle of Essen Spiel one of the busiest times of the year. We had paid 1 year in advance. First we were told the place was being sold but a variety of stories followed ending with there was a plumbing issue. Staff did not have a clue what was happening. This hotel has changed hands within the last year and whatever merits it had before are gone. A terible experience. AVOID.
