Great value for money. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely room with air-con and even a separate shower. We upgraded to a quiet room (free of charge) which overlooked the car park.. Fantastic breakfast with a lot of variety ie boiled or scrambled eggs, bacon,sausages, cooked meats,cheese, fruit etc. Amongst the best weve had staying in hotels in Germany..The car park is free . Nice outside seating area. Easy access to the city centre ( bus number 68 or tram number1). Bus/tram stop just around the corner.You can even walk to the old town, took us about 35 mins and we are OAPs. Strongly advise taking a trip to Bautzen and Gorlitz, easy to get to with the train. Also advise trip to Bastei bridgeagain easy with the train via Dresden Mitte station. There is a petrol station over the road where you can get beer and wine if you wish as well as sandwiches and rolls. The hotel does have a bar but it closes at 9:30pm. Would recommend a visit to a restaurant called Omas which is just a 10 minute walk away. They serve traditional German cuisine in rather large portions!! Very popular with the locals. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

After a brief stay in Dresden for two nights, although the room gave a sense of stepping back in time, and there was only a curtain separating the shower from the room, everything was comfortable. The affordable price and free parking were commendable. The most pleasant surprise was that, upon our return to the room in the evening after exploring Dresden, the housekeeping staff had already tidied up the bed and even replenished a new bottle of water! I must admit, this is above a 5-star standard for European hotels. Thanks to the hardworking housekeeping staff!

Nice walk along the Elbe to the city. Around 1.5 hours if you follow the river. Excellent breakfast.

The style and the option with the shower rainfall or normal. Kettle in the room, which is unusual in Germany. Great selection of tee and breakfast options.
German pillows. Luckily, I brought my own. The public transport strikes on the Friday cost me dearly and made me wish I'd stayed even more central

Bus and tram station close. Parking lot with space for larger vehicles.
We broke a glass bottle on our way in. We picked up as much as we could. When we got to registration, she didnt seem concerned and Im carrying a large broken bottle with shards of glass. No reaction. I walked around looking for a trash bin and finally she pulled one out from under the counter.

Even if the hotel has old furniture, I like that. I like the breakfast and the free parking in the back of the hotel.
It is not in the city centre, but it has good connection to go in the city centre.
The bathroom is a bit small.

It was clean and staff was friendly. Despite motorway outside was quiet . Bed was comfy.

Comfortable clean rooms close to bus & tram stops. Good breakfast. Staff were helpful even though some couldn't speak English and I couldn't speak German.
Not a fan of the small pillows used in many hotels in this region. The toilet door had gaps all around it.
