There was for me no fault in this hotel. Location is perfect along the river overlooking the old town. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming.
My room was upgraded free of costs to a Suite. And my jaw was just left dropped. I really didn't want to leave

The staff at the front desk was rude, arrogant, was not informed of the number of breakfasts booked at the hotel, we were also billed for water that was outside the minibar.

Positives: The room was very nice, clean and spacious. The breakfast buffet selection was generous although other hotels offer Sekt on Sundays. The elder lady on the reception with glasses was the best employee in the hotel, a wonderful lady who clearly enjoyed her job and all your staff should be trained to her standard (or fired if they don't meet that standard).
It was a disappointing stay at this well reviewed hotel. On check-in I was asked for my date of birth. Nobody noticed that it was my birthday the next day or throughout our whole stay there. The older guy on the reception in the evening (6th October) was downright rude to my partner when he asked if it was possible to borrow a cable to charge his phone. The answer was a blunt "NO" without explanation or suggestion where he might get one. The breakfast procedure was very impersonal - no greetings in the morning or showing to a table. Simply fill in a form and post it in a box. No personal contact with hotel employees. The room that we had was looking at the car park next to the main road. So much for Bellevue. The photos used to advertise the hotel show the other side of the hotel and the terrasse. The hotel infact is not as idyllic looking in reality.

I asked for a room on a high floor, I was giving a room on the second. I asked if it were possible to change it, but I was told it was not possible. The room, however, was very wide and nice....

The only nice thing about this hotel was the young lady in the bar and young boy behind reception
We had been on a trip around Poland and Germany, this was the worst hotel of 7 we had stayed in!!!!!!!
Smell of drains/sewage in rooms, when it came to washing your hands you had to walk to the shower to get some soap from the dispenser.
No tea/coffee facilities in room, was provided with a kettle by reception, asked if we could have 2 cups from next to the bar, what must be the manager shouted at me, NO NO, other guests saw the way she spoke to me and the other staff looked embarrassed, there is absolutely no need to speak to your guests like that, just so rude. I gave up and went back to my car to fetch 2 travel mugs.
I know what good service looks like as I travel for work, this was NOT a good experience.

Ironically not being in the center but over the river allowed for a great vista when you looked from the back of the hotel. The rooms were a good size and breakfast was great
Not much . Didn't see access to the pool ,which they use as main photo. Busy and big place ,car parking over 20 euros a night

Large conference was taking place which used the foyer space as their registration point. This was annoying as it was congested and noisy. We struggled to get our bags to the check out counter and had no where to sit.
