As the name of the hotel suggests - it's worth coming here just for the breakfast. I had a very big dinner in the city the night before, and was planning on having a light breakfast. But I ended up staying at the breakfast buffet longer and tried a large array of dished there. Most of them were truly stunning. Especially the deserts - they had 6 different cakes!
As everywhere, the prices of hotels during large events in Messe Dusseldorf are insane. 250 eur / night is extremely pricy. But other hotels are the same, so here you at least get a great breakfast :)

Perfect location and friendly staff. The stay was a great experience and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We loved the fact that we could park our car safely in the Tiefgarage. A super stay all round.

Everything you read in the reviews is completely accurate- the staff are AMAZING, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, the location is handy and although I didnt eat here I am sure the breakfast is as incredible as they say. I stayed during a heatwave and it was impossible to sleep even with the fan but on the mild days it was very comfortable. There are many train stops nearby and it is only 25min (door to door) to the airport so a great location. The gym is small and isnt a separate room, more like a foyer with equipment, but it is perfectly suffice for a good workout.
I believe it is common in Europe but I prefer to have a top sheet on a bed rather than just a duvet, especially in summer so you can be covered without a heavy and hot blanket.

The breakfast was great, although a tad expensive for how much I can eat in the morning. Location was great, very close to a tram station and a train station, and the staff was very friendly. Loved using the sauna in the basement!
The rooms have no AC and get very warm and stuffy in the summer. We had to open the windows, which didn't provide much coolness, but allowed plenty of mosquitos in, as the windows have no screens. Haven't gotten this eaten up by mosquitos in a long while!

Hotel was very clean, and the WiFi was decent.
It doesn't state this on their page, but the hotel closes at 10pm, regardless of whether you have arrived or not. They will literally lock you out, and will aggressively confront you if you have a problem with that. Despite their strict policy that they don't want you know about when you book, and despite it being 2023, there is no out of hours key box, so you will literally have to find alternative accommodation if say, your flight has been delayed. The location is handy if you need to go to the University Clinic, otherwise the area is a total dump. They claim to have some kind of special breakfast, but it's actually just like every other awful German breakfast in every other German hotel, except you get like 20 different cereals to choose from. If you have a customer service complaint, don't expect the manager to have the courage to talk to you about it. She will ignore you until you're safely back in your home country before gaslighting you with a passive aggressive email.
