The apartment was inexpensive and super clean.
The owner had zero interest in being helpful in any way. He just did not want to be bothered. There was a rolling transport strike which we did not know about. e.g. We went to the tram stop to see written on the electric board strike, so we called the owner and asked about the strike and trains and planes that we were due to take later that day and were told " I do nto read the news", bye. We didnot know to take the taxi to the train station or the next city or book froma different airport! The kitchen has no water and no sink or plumbing and the only water is in the toilet, but the tap is too low to even allow the kettle to be filled so we had to fill cups and pass the water to the kettle.

Convenient location to be based at for exploring Dusseldorf. 5 mins walk to tram station with frequent connections to city centre without the hassle of trying to find parking. Good sized rooms and toilet. Kitchen was small without sink so not the most convenient if you intend to make food but not an issue for us because we ate out.
