The hotel is only steps away from the main station in Erfurt. The rooms are predictably reliable in this chain. Everything worked well and the room was pretty clean.
The bed was really not comfortable. My room faced the square in front of the train station. There were rowdy people screaming in the middle of the night. (It is not the hotel’s fault, clearly, but it does have to do with the hotel’s location…)

Perfect location, and very nice staff
It was too hot in the room and there was no air conditioning. We had to ask for an electric fan. Luckily, there was one left for us!
It's generally overpriced for what you'd get.

Near de main station. Clean but very basic.
There is no air conditioning. In midsummer this is a problem. We opened the window to get some air, but unfortunately after a few minutes our room was infested with twenty small insects flying around and taking refuge in the bed. We asked the staff (who weren't surprised at all by this event) to change rooms. The staffing manager told us they couldn't keep the bugs out and it was written in the hotel description that there was no AC. Not very constructive or helpful attitude. Being pregnant, I would have liked to have had a minimum of support. A hotel without air-conditioning can expect guests to open windows, and we sincerely deplore the fact that staff not warned their customers that many insects enter as soon as windows are opened. It was a very bad night. No apology from the staff manager, no alternative solution offered to have fresh air (a fan for the most fragile guests, for example), no commercial gesture, nothing from Intercity Erfurt to make our stay safer.
Moreover, as the hotel is close to the main station, there's a lot of noise from the comings and goings of the trains, and people hanging out near the station.
