Completely ripped off..... 1st of all we needed to change our booking from 4 nights to 3 and the hotel ignored us for months and then the day before said they couldn't do it!
2nd - we booked a deluxe double room and they shoved us in the one room THAT WAS HALF THE SIZE of every other room and a single room. Look at the fire plan - room 16
I have made a complaint to them and booking.com and await the outcome. Disgusting and dishonest - FALSE ADVERTISING

Great location, nearby to tram stop that gave me perfect access to Spiel Essen. Staff were friendly. Breakfast had a good offering. Hotel/room was clean and comfy. Bedding was very premium compared to other hotels I’d stayed at during my trip. TV in the room had access to YouTube/Netflix/Prime video (own login). Definitely would stay here again.
Couldn’t find anyone when I first arrived for check in, however, after a quick message someone did arrive promptly. Definitely not a big issue and didn’t impact my stay.

The room was clean, cozy, and very warm. Bed linen, towels, shower gel, and soap were provided. Check-in was quick. Breakfast was fine.
There were a lot of people at breakfast, and there weren’t enough tables.

The Hotel feels more like a hostel with private rooms, which are clean but basic and the bathroom needed some TLC. The breakfast was good and the staff pleasent. Wouldn't stay more than one night.

My flight and my train was delayed. And I can only check in at 23:45, which is 15min later than the hotel reception desk closing time. The staff waited for me after hearing my situation. I feel very happy for my stay.

Excellent value for the price. In the best part of the city, 2-5 min walk from every possible coffee shop, restaurant, grocery store and shopping! And train station is 2 min walk.
