The location is beautiful in the middle of the Margarethenhhe. Due to its location right next to the little market square, though, having a room to the square side means noise from cars and walkers late at night and early in the morning potentially. Still, the historic experience is worth it! The staff is extremely nice. They go out of their ways to help with whatever the question/problem might be. Parking on the square for free is really handy.
The breakfast remained underneath our expectations. Whilst the bread rolls where excellent, the hard-boiled eggs were ice-cold, and the cheese/charcuterie platters were at room temperature it seemed. Therefore the cheese looked 'old' and little appetizing. The coffee was good though.

The room was very nice and comfortable. The property was clean and well maintained. Overall stay was satisfactory.
There isn't anything to dislike but it would be better if someone from the reception helps you to your room as it is a bit confusing for some to locate the room properly.

The food in the restaurant was amazing. High priced, but the service and flavor did not disappoint. The Edeka across from the hotel was very convenient. Our room was one of the biggest I have stayed in during all my trips in Europe.
Breakfast ending at 10am was disappointing. Finding out the parking lot in the front was unavailable on Saturday was disappointing, but at least the garage was an option. The location was extremally inconvenient for our needs. We needed to make frequent trips to the Messe Platz and it was 2km west of the hotel, which is why I chose this hotel. Unfortunately we had to take trains several kilometers west and loop back to an eastbound train, negating my entire reasoning for choosing the location. Like most of the other hotels, the costs spike to reflect the influx of visitors for the Messe.
