Excellent location, close to transit, close to the Hauptbahnhof, Messe Essen, Berlinerplatz. Great reception staff, huge rooms, nice bathroom, great bed.
The breakfast was nice, but needed more desserts.
The WiFi was really bad, I was on the 9th floor and barely had any reception. I received 2 SSID and still had trouble, barely any signal. I think the hotel needs to upgrade their routers.

Clean and big rooms. You have everything you need. Water and thee at the room. The breakfast is very good! Very friendly staff.
Parking is awful! Very small spaces. Unclear where to go. 13 euro`s for one night stay!!! I was a guest and you want me to pay 13 euro`s to park at your hotel!!!! (Loosing your ticket is 12 euro`s...I am just saying...)

The room was spacious and silent from street noise - we had room on floor 10, so that might differ.
Breakfast was really plain bordering bad. The breakfast-room has a wierd layout, first pick up a tray, the head back to where you came from to pick up a plate, then there is not room to place the tray anywhere. Plexiglass shield over the bread (Corona-prevention obviously) .. but no cloth over the Bread and everyone was cutting with the same knife. So just we're down to not-user-friendly but still infectious :)

It all feels very decent but a bit old. Except for the bathrooms, which are top notch. And the prices are very agreeable for what you are getting. For visiting events in the Messe the location isn't too far by bus 160/161 (or you can rent electric steps).
The hotel feels a little out-dated. Everything you need is there, but the facilities all feel very vintage. The Parking garage is quite expensive. Price and quality of the breakfast was a little off for me personally.
