The hotel is cozy and offers a relaxing atmosphere. Beds are comfy and everything was clean.
What looks good at first glance isnt at second glance. The little vanity mirror in the bathroom was half disassembled, shower had no water pressure, socket fell half out of wall,
Staff was overwhelmed and stressed and did not make a good job hiding it or paying actual attention on our needs (eg we had so search for someone to get a coffee for breakfast). It seems they were completely understaffed.

The restaurant was very special, the chef and the waiter made the experience really memorable. Really tasty food, great knowledge and presentation. The spa was also fantastic. They had a very clean area, free use of towels and robes as well as a great range of facilities to use
The bathrooms inside of the rooms could do with an update as they are a little outdated. They dont match the design of the rooms but it certainly IS NOT something that would put me off staying here again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The offered massages were excellent and not too pricey.
It was advertised with bathrobes and slippers. We received bathrobes after asking for it, but slippers were not available. The restaurant was closed due to summer break, which could be better communicated beforehand.

Nice property but rooms werent equipped with AC and I had to pay 20 Euro for early check in even though the room was ready and I was only about 45-50 minutes early.

rooms in modern mountain style,
my room had quite a large balcony, large bed, Nespresso coffee machine, breakfast was ok
location (45 min not so pleasant walk to Esslingen City Center), old fashioned bathrooms (hello 80ties!), in house restaurant closed on Sunday and not much possibilities in the surroundings
