Very Good
Hot water was fine. Breakfast was great. This town has been around since 1500 for a reason. Change comes slowly here. Same with this management. The room was clean.
Sign in is not as well articulated as some would expect. Yes the curtains didn’t fully cover the window. The bed was in a corner. The en suite sink and shower space was awkward for anyone who is not height weight proportional. Yes one toilet for several rooms on the floor might be an inconvenience. It wasn’t for me.

It was clean, overall good enough to stay for a night
It is more convenient if the passcode for the door is shared with guest, as hundreds of hotels do. Then the receptionist does not need to stay up for the night, waiting for the guest to call. Small breakfast but acceptable for 8 Eur, do not expect warm meals. The most disturbing fact, is the breakfast time, 8:00! It was NOT mentioned in booking, not in the website, not in the leaflet inside the room. Not good if you are on a business trip. There are no soaps in the room, just two small packs of shampoo! It is more hygienic, to provide guest with soaps!

Great location, simple rooms which were more than adequate. Everything was clean. The location is central and there is a fantastic cake/ cafe shop close by.
Breakfast was included and was from 8-10. The I initial buffet selection was more than adequate however items ran out quickly and were not topped up. The coffee was incredibly weak. I would go elsewhere for breakfast if I stayed again. I did let staff know that the food needed replenishment, however it was not followed up adequately.

Good breakfast. Large rooms. Large joint balcony.
We ordered a room with own toilet and bath, but at arrival we got a room without. Same price. We came before closing of reception but no one there. No one picked up the phone, we called 4 times. Luckily a cleaning lady let us in and showed us to the room. Friendly personnel, not their fault. Found a lot of hair along the floor by the bed side. The joint shower you could not be used, because it was to narrow to enter, through the shower doors. You had to shower in the tub.

The location is incredibly good 
They have hidden costs such as parking and there’s a difference between private bath and private toilet. If your room has a private bath, you have to pay extra to get a private toilet.

Breakfast. Comfortable bed. Fairly close to station. Right at heart of beautiful historic centre. I had my own shower room (even though toilet was shared).8

No frills guest house in the old town of Goslar. Comfortable rooms. Very good breakfast.
Frustrating check in experience! Regardless of the time of arrival, even before 6 pm, one must make a telephone call to get the code. It is the only option. Being a foreigner on roaming, phone calls are expensive for me. Even more expensive, when all I can get to is voice mail. By the time someone answered almost an hour later, I had already accumulated roamig costs close to 25% of the room rate. And to add insult to injury, when eventually they picked up the phone, they laughted at my grievance. That is correct - laughed! As if it were funny that I wasted the most important hour of my one-day visit to Goslar, waiting like a fool in the street in front of their door.
