Exceptional
The hotel is located on the top of the mountain and just a few steps way to take the cable car to Heidelberg Castle and old town with guest discount. We had a breakfast there, which has a lot of choices. Our rooms is very clean and looks luxury. The receptionist is very nice and her suggestions let us finish the touring in the afteroon that we arrived with such a nice autumn weather.

Lovely location above the Heidelberg castle. The room was good, just a little hot. We had everything we needed, and plenty of parking Breakfast was good.
It was very hot in the room,and we could have done with some air conditioning otherwise, all good!

Loved the location and the view was fabulous. So easy to get to the castle. Our room had a balcony with a beautiful view. The room and especially the bathroom were very small but we managed. Glad we only stayed one night. Would recommend.

The location was great with a nice car park and the views were great
Reception was small , we didnt get enough info when arriving , what time breakfast was, how to get to our room and that breakfast was additional charge , the bill didnt make much sense I had to message after to see why I didnt add up , they did respond and explain that breakfast was 15 euros each

Sylvia (one of the staff members) went out of her way to make it the perfect stay for us, even though it started not that well when there was a problem with our booking when we arrived. She immediately made another plan to accommodate us in a good way and ensured it was followed through. Thank you Sylvia.

Beautiful view from the terrace, personal was very nice and engaging. Pretty, quite spacious room with a new looking bathroom. Clean room. Many small extras to ease your stay; bottle of water, slippers, mini bar, luggage stand. Good communication beforehand to let us know how to get to the hotel by car. More than enough parking spaces.
It was very hot during our stay and there wasn't an airco or ventilator. There were a lot of wasps outside, so we couldn't really enjoy sitting on the amazing terrace. Prepare; an old beautiful house, so no elevator. Very nice to know; as a guest you get a discount for the mountain train next door. But.... during high season, the queues are insanely long as the trains go to 2 major attractions of the city as well.

Customer must come by cable car, up and down take 14 euros, but the view is very good. No air conditioner, but the weather is cool now.

The hotel is in the forest in Heidelberg and there are no window insect screens. It is advertised as close to castle but is awkward to walk to, especially in the night on a dark road. Better to drive. It was so hot about 30 degrees and there is no AC. This means to open the window in the evening you cannot turn on the light, otherwise the room is filled with mosquitoes. The walls and curtains were dirty and the tv and wake up alarm were very old. There was no coffee facilities in the room. I was awake the whole night due to heat and uncomfortable bed. The bathroom had a broken window blind that is not even fitting the window so we did not feel like we had adequate privacy. For all this I normally would not mind except this is billed as a 4 star hotel and for the high price of the room I was very surprised about the terrible quality. I had better quality staying in a cheap travel lodge. I would not recommend this hotel at all.
