There were no bath towels in the room, only hand towels. We asked the reception and we were told they are standard towels. At the check out I asked again and was told there should have been 2 hand towels and two bath towels. There were no bath towels. There were too many stairs to get to the room. We asked for other room with less stairs but there were no rooms available

great location for travelling through Germany from the UK on our way to Denmark. Very quiet, excellent food in the restaurant (good vegetarian choices) and really good breakfast. Traditional German style hotel. Super helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable beds.
Decor is a little dated, but this didnt affect the comfort or quality of our stay.

Really nice hotel, just outside Hamburg. It was the perfect stopover hotel travelling north. In nice countryside where we could stretch the legs after long hours of driving. Nice room & nice people. Very quiet, so we slept well. The restaurant has a traditional german menu and a lot of people from the neighbourhood eat there as well. Breakfast was great and they had a service to buy bread rolls, which is very handy when you have to travel further. We will come back next time we travel north.

It gave a lovely sense of German hospitality, and was very comfortable and clean. The location was so close to the motorway and yet very quiet and relaxing.

Breakfast was excellent, the restaurant offered original German dishes. All in all a lot of value for my money, will definitely come back when I need a hotel in the area.
I was a little disappointed that the Biergarten was closed.

Easy location from highway after long journey. Really spotlessly clean and well appointed modern room. Ate in restaurant and food was really lovely and generous hearty portions. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Nothing bad to say, only that I arrived after 2 hr delay on highway closure, so didn't have as long there as I would have liked.
